5.5 Hour Round
Course was in fair shape. They have a new clubhouse which is nice, still appears to be under construction. The worst thing about this course was Tee Sheet Management or lack thereof. This was my first round in years that lasted over 5.5 hours because there were so many groups stacked right on top of each other. At one point there were three groups lined up at a tee box which should never happen.
Could be a fantastic course
This course is situated on some beautiful property. The largest problem is the grounds are not taken care of properly. Graywolf needs a professional groundskeeper and then this place could be an exceptional course. The clubhouse and landscaping are under construction but think it’s been that way for awhile and maybe they ran out of money. Also, we had a tee time at 8:36 and they had the entry gated off till 8:24 even though there was another person with an earlier tee time that also couldn’t get in. Employee seemed very late. It’s too bad.
Poor Tee Time Management
Was almost a 5.5 hour round. No tee time management, or if there is they’re spaced apart poorly.
From out of town
This place was extremely beautiful. From the time we checked in to the time we left the staff was great. The greens are in great shape. After hearing the owners story about this course and tornado that hit it a few years ago. How they have turned it around and they are still not done. I can’t wait to see it when it’s done.
Shout out to the owner, owners girlfriend and the facilities manger for having a drink with me. See you all in September.
Not 4 stars
The course did not look as well maintained as a residential lawn. Overgrown tee boxes / fairways that looked like the 2nd cut at a well maintained course, hard clay packed areas all throughout. I was surprised the greens were mowed.

The Improvements are showing!
The new clubhouse is really nice. The kitchen had a decent selection and was all really fairly priced. The staff were great. It was One of the first nice days this spring so the course shows that but still an enjoyable round. The carts are really nice too. Unfortunately there are no bathrooms, water jugs, or ball washers on the course yet but the said they are coming. We also had a couple of really slow groups in front of us. 18 holes in a cart took 4 hrs 15 min.
Excellent course
Wow!!!! First time playing here and was very impressed. Being this late in the season and with no water this year, greens were nice and tee boxes were good I would high recommend this course to anyone and will definitely return. The staff and pace of play was top notch. They just built an awesome club house so this place will continue to get better. Keep up the great work and great job staff.

New
New owner. New clubhouse. They switched the front and back nine holes. Great to see the comeback after the tornado came through.
Fun layout, but very dry
Played here for the first time last weekend. I saw the mixed reviews and went in with an open mind to give an honest review.
The Good: They recently flipped their back 9 and their front 9 around. Having not played before I didn't know the difference, however the new back 9 played a lot easier. I like the layout of the course. The staff was friendly, and we had an overall very good experience. The greens were in very good shape.
The Bad: A lot of the course was dry or dead in the fairways. There were multiple times I would hit into the fairway and move my ball to find a patch of grass or even crab grass to hit off of. This wasn't the case on all the fairways, but on a lot of them. Not watering the course during a dry fall season seems to be the norm at a lot of golf courses lately. Also I'm really not sure what is going on with hole #9. There is a giant trench that runs right down the middle of the fairway.
Overall we had a good time and we will be back. I hope to see it improved next year.
Fairways
Greens were really good, but the tee boxes and fairways were awful. Cannot charge $45 a round for those conditions.
Crab grass aplenty
Love the layout. For the most part the greens were in really good condition. The fairways on the other hand and some of the tee boxes had too much crab grass. Take care of that and I would give the course a 8/9 out of 10. It's still a work in progress. The clubhouse still isn't finished, and ball washers need to be added. Overall I was satisfied.
Fun course to play
we're fairly new to golf but had a great time at Graywolf. Hopefully 18 birdie gets the new layout updated soon
