The Jay & Lionel Hebert Municipal Golf Course

Super friendly staff. Course is open and challenging for a muni lay out. Most greens are excellent, others still seeding. Hard to lose a ball, so you save there. Its a good course to improve your ball striking.

Great Municipal course. The Fairways are in good conditions, but the greens are difficult to read due to the heat and dry or missing grass. Recommend a vending cart in specific holes due to the dire heat.

First, the office was locked when I arrived to check in. Without a starter, singles and twosomes were teeing off whenever they wanted, not adhering to their tee times. The pace of play is slow because they are allowing fivesomes to tee off. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Also, if you are trying to teach a kid to play golf, you tee off later in the afternoon. It seems management would rather take care of certain groups and the heck with the rest of us. I will try to find other courses to play.

Even with the rain during the week, the course was in good shape. The fairways were cut and the rough wasn’t bad. The greens still need some work. If there were a few marshals on the course, I might not have to fix so many ball marks.
