Great shape!
Always a treat to play here. Course is in great shape and couldn’t ask for a nicer staff or weather.
Nice Layout with no trees
Greens: Good condition, medium to fast
Tee boxes,: fair to good condition, five different sets
Fairways: good condition, not real tight
Rough: good condition, ball settles down
Water Hazards: Nine holes with water
Pro shop: very small
Snack Bar: medium to small layout
Driving range: Pins with small greens/no woods allowed
Putting greens: good condition, 3 different areas
Chipping/pitching area with sand trap: good
Staff: Friendly
Pace of play: medium to slow, a little over 4 hours
My Score: 35-41=76
I will be going back!
The greens roll flawless
I enjoyed the course the greens were easy to read and rolled very well. The only thing I didn't like was my cart was extremely squeaky the whole time.
Pleasantly "Normal"
The Wetlands is a challenging course due to its somewhat narrow fairways and fairway Bunker locations. Greens were well kept overall, with a few bare spots on the outer edges. Following a five-some was of course slower, but they played at a decent pace and we were able to finish in 4 and 1/2 hours. Definitely will return!
Great course
Great course! The worst thing about this place is the parking.
course review
COURSE ALLOWING FIVESOMES DURING AFTERNOON SPECIALS BACKING UP FOURSOMES. WAY TOO LONG TO BE WAITING TO HIT YOUR DRIVE OR NEXT SHOT WHEN THE HEAT INDEX IS PUSHING 100 DEGREES WITH NEAR AS MUCH HUMIDITY. PACE QUICKENED AFTER REQUESTING STAFF TO ADDRESS AND SOMEWHAT RESOLVE THE ISSUE AFTER THE FRONT NINE. THE FIVESOME CAUSING THE BACKUP WAS 3-4 HOLES BEHIND THE GROUP IN FRONT OF THEM.
Nice layout
Course has a nice layout with ten holes with water, seven holes with native grass and very few trees. Course conditions of the tee boxes, fairways and rough were in good conditions considering how much rain the course has received in the last few weeks. This course drains very well considering how much it rains. Greens are a little bumpy and medium speed due to aeration a few weeks ago. We will be going back when the rains let up.
Beautiful Little Munie Course
Plays well, rewards if you plan your shots. Distance without aim, might cost you, as it should. Greens recently punched but still rolled fairly true just slow.
Marshalls need to police the course better!
We were a foursome. At the fifth hole, a two-some caught up with us. We were courteous and let them play through. Three holes later another two-some caught up to us. We let them play through. Why didn't the marshall have the two twosomes become a foursome at the first tee box? Three holes later, a single caught up with us. We let him play through. Two holes later, another single caught up with us. We let him play through. Why weren't the two singles made into a two-some?
Because we were courteous and let four groups play through, it took us 4 and 1/2 hours to play the round. We didn't have to let anyone through. The marshalls were very derelict in their duties. When a marshall is sitting in a cart with a tablet computer at the first hole, he knows exactly who is coming up to play. He should not let two-somes and singles go off without grouping them together.
