About
Crete Golf Club offers a desert-style course that features picturesque views of both the rugged mountains of Crete and the Aegean Sea. The layout features expansive fairways and generous landing areas that are very forgiving, but the golf course still offers quite a challenge. Natural olive and carob trees add to the course's beauty, but they are not friendly to errant shots. Deep ravines, strong ocean breezes, and strategically placed bunkers add to the course's difficulty. One of the most notable holes at Crete Golf Club is the par-3 sixth, which requires a tee shot past a ravine in order to reach a double-tiered green that is carved into a hillside.

Nice Challenging Course with Beautiful Views
Very nice, challenging course with some narrow fairways, elevation changes and beautiful views of surrounding mountains. Not very crowded on the day that I played so I was not paired up with anyone. Would have bought a golf cap from pro shop but they didn’t have any and a fairly limited stock of golf shirts. A bit pricey at €95 green fees but there aren’t many other options on Crete. Would play it again if ever back on the island but will bring more balls…lol.
