Lake Isle Country Club
About
Located in the heart of Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club is a facility that is owned by the town and offers a swimming complex with five pools and a tennis center with eight courts in addition to the 18-hole, championship golf course. Opened in 1926, the course is one of the oldest in the area and it is still a local favorite. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course may be on the shorter side but it still offers some challenging holes. The layout is mostly reachable par 4s as well as a few tricky par 3s and only an occasional par 5. The golf course has a classic design that is approachable enough for a range of skill levels to feel comfortable tackling the layout.

Lake Isle
Nice course - starter and ranger were on a power trip. Usually I have seen the starter by the first hole when I played the last couple of times. He proceeded to come out of nowhere and yell at my group that we went out before the 12:25 group and we were scheduled for 12:16. The 12:25 group stated he said to just go, so I thought that, that implied we could go as we were scheduled before? The ranger with a neck brace wasn’t friendly, yelled at me when I went slightly off cart path and ran into our other groups cart to get over to me. Relax it’s not that serious.
Awesome country club course
Friendly people, nice course not too hard or easy just the right amount of difficulty for all. Green was super fast but easy to work around. Great place for a round after work or twilight. Would recommend and definitely will be returning!
👍🏻
Course is in great shape after having 3 days of rain. Rough was a little thick but the course is holding up very well.
Very Rough
Oh boy they are not kidding , narrow fairways u must keep the ball on. Rough was unbelievable! Greens had some mean pin placements! U should always b below the pin. Downhill putts were almost comical!!!!
Over priced rip off
Had to pay full price for a cart even though I walked the course, I was told they had no choice because I booked on Golf Now so they had to charge me. And on GolfNow, I was not given a choice to walk felt more like a shakedown. Nothing special about this course that it is semi-private which I do not understand either. I think it’s all a bunch of bull..
Only worth it if it’s free
Layout is horribly tight and extremely short. People there are extremely entitled and have 0 regard for others. You’re not on tour, you don’t need 15 minutes on the green for 2 people. I played through and there was 4 groups this slow. Worse than a public muni on a Sunday.
