The Upper Course at the Whisper Rock Golf Club is one of two golf courses that the club offers, the other being the Phil Mickelson-designed Lower Course. Tom Fazio designed the Upper Course. The signature hole on this course is the 13th. At 340 yards, it has modest length but great challenge. It requires a precise shot off an elevated tee to the fairway below and an approach shot to a guarded green. Due to Whisper Rock Golf Club's desire to keep itself distinct from the bordering residential community, the courses' designs are grouped in a way that only stretches of desert landscape separates them.
