Kennsington Golf Club

Beautiful facility, great golf carts, great bar and food, great snack stand at the turn, greens are enormous and fast BUT on this particular day, the rough was so crazy long and deep, a golfer cannot enjoy the round.

All things told the layout is nice. The conditions were pretty solid, but goodness gracious the pace of play was horrendous. I get this is a public course and I played with a friend on a Saturday. But when you’re 17 minutes behind pace of play on the front nine and the Ranger comes up to you and tells you to give it a few minutes before you tee off rather than addressing the slow pace of play with the groups in front of us that’s pretty insane to me. This happened again on hole 13 and we waited to tee off- ant that time we were 34 minutes behind pace. All told, by the end of the round we were over an hour behind pace of play. And that’s not my imagination, that’s what the screen on the golf cart told us. Can’t say I’ll be back anytime soon

Completely Overbooked. No carts waited 45 minutes to get a cart It took 3 and a half hours to play 9 holes. The fairways looks like bombs went off everywhere because no one fixes the divots. You couldn’t pay me to play at this course again. Please save your time and your money.

The golf course was in great shape. Challenging and beautiful layout. Some of the roughest rough I have ever played but I enjoyed the difficulty for a change from my local courses down in central OH. Only knock I have is the greens were slow and some a bit marked up. The rangers were super nice and the hospitality overall was 10/10 definitely will come back next time I’m in Youngstown.

Marks on the greens even if it is not theirs. Pace of play was good. I was a single. Multi groups let me play through and I finished in 3 hours. Would play again. Plus I got a hot deal and paid $23.

The staff is very nice and polite. Love Joe the Marshall. So nice and had great conversation with. Course is in great shape. All areas. Tee box, fairways, rough and greens. Maybe players need to take sand traps and repair greens.

Still putts run true and the stimp is about 10-11

Love the course, staff was very pleasant, carts are great cart paths are the best I've been on. There was a lot of trash thru out the course. It looks like nobody repairs divots in the fairways or ball marks on the greens. Peoplewho play there should respect the course better.

It was absolutely ridiculous. Pizz of player was so slow. We waited 10 minutes to take a shot on every hole from the third hole until I had to leave on the 17th. Maybe you shouldn’t be so greedy and so many tee times. All of the par three greens were beat up. Probably won’t be back.

I played yesterday and was very happy with my round. The course was in great condition, greens were fast and true. I would like to play here again.

Kennsington is easily the best course, private or public, in the area. It is in immaculate condition and the staff is especially professional and friendly. Fantastic electric carts and a full driving range and putting area. An early bird weekday special of only $30 is unbelievable. Kennsington is always crowded so make your t times as many days / weeks in advance as possible!

First time at this course. About an hour drive for me.

By the time I got out of my truck, the dude had a cart at my tailgate, nice intro to a newbie!

Weather was perfect.

Spring round, good condition was expecting more wetness but the course drained great. Big greens, undulating, fast, smooth, and subtle breaks. They are a highlight.

Love the layout. Staff took good care of me and the grill is exceptional. Nice pro shop too.

Overall, great experience. I’ll be back.
