The Val Course at AA Saint-Omer Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course, Par 73, 6,218 meters long, is the work of the Dutchman Dudok Van Heel. With its varied terrain, dog-leg layouts, and multiple-sloped greens, this championship course offers a beautiful challenge. It is complemented by a 9-hole course called 'La Haute Drève', Par 31, 2,018 meters long.

Buggy needed,extremely difficult and uninviting

This course is extremely difficult and in places dangerous paths are very steep and in places slippery. My husband plays of 18 and I play off 21 and on many holes found the challenge just too much and uninviting. The pace of play was slow due to the difficulty and some inexperienced players in front. Will not play here again under any circumstances.

Club house was good. Adjoining hotel is used mainly as a stopover before Calais.

Have played many courses in France and this was probably the least enjoyable.
