The Golf Club At Oxford Greens

Extremely slow play all the time on the weekends didn’t even see a ranger out on the corse, beverage cart was a ghost till the 9th hole.

Beautiful layout. Unlike many courses the holes are very individual and never overlap on each other. That often means lined by homes but that is not the case here. Excellent conditions and great greens. Had a wonderful day there with my wife. Shot 65 at 75 years old from the age appropriate green tees. The course is particularly nice in the fall as the leaves paint a marvelous picture. Highly recommended.

From the minute you arrive at the course till you reach the 19th hole Everest the course is very friendly and helpful. Challenging course, great layout!

First timers to course. Drove over from the Hudson valley with 14 players. We all were very pleased with the overall experience. All the staff were friendly and professional and very helpful. Course has a great layout. Some of the tee boxes need a bit of attention but all the greens are healthy and rolled fast and true.

I would definitely return. Special shout out to Chris in the bar/restaurant. What a great personality.

Starter gave me the heads up on the difficulty of the course. Didn’t play my driver at all 😂😂😂, the course is immaculate. Great time. Everyone was awesome. Service was 10/10. Absolutely loved it. It’s not every week you see Oxford greens on here. So I gotta take advantage any chance I get

It looks that this course would not like to spend money for maintenance at all. Not only for the bad course condition but also we got lots of mosquito bites on our legs. Sorry that I will never go back to this golf course again.

I called before booking and asked if they had aerated the course. They told me no they had not aerated.. well, I guess they will blame me by saying they aerated the greens probably a week earlier, but not the fairways. I would think it would make sense to mention this and the fact it was cart path only. Oxford is mountainous and frankly one of the hardest courses to play cart path only. No discount for aeration or cart path only just under 5 hr round.It was very hot but no water on the course! And only one cart girl the entire round. Frankly, several holes could have been 90 degree rule but it seems they don’t feel a need to accommodate their customers. It’s a shame - fairways and greens are in great shape. I cannot think of a good reason not to have two cart girls and at least 2 water coolers out there. I won’t be back . Very unfortunate.

started 45 minutes late. Cart path only on a 100 degree day on a dry course. Did not see the cart girl once though they say she was you there. No water startions. half the tee boxes were straight dirt.

Expected to have a good afternoon playing at Oxford Greens but right from the start it went down hill. With an am tee time one would not expect that tee times were running 25 mins behind. Starter advised no cart restrictions except for the par 3s, which was totally wrong. The course was mostly cart path only, the tee boxes were in poor condition and the ball marks on the greens was excessive. Also at no time did a ranger check on the groups so the pace of play was very slow. A five- hour round was the end result.

I like Oxford Greens Golf Course but I have 3 major complaints after my latest round. Many of the tee boxes were nearly unplayable. The course is tough enough as is; losing footing on a torn up box isn’t the way to start a hole. The greens are also banged up. Does no one fix their ball marks at that course? If you’re farther than 10 feet from the hole, good luck rolling one in through all those marks. And perhaps the most frustrating, there was no water at all on the course. A cooler chest on hole #1 had the remnants of ice and water in it. That’s it for 18 holes. And no, there wasn’t a drink cart going around. How hard is it to simply station a few drink coolers along the course? I’ll probably not play it again until the weather cools. That being said, the staff inside is always friendly and accommodating.

I was really looking forward to playing at Oxford Greens, but had a disappointing experience. I booked via GolfNow, and the quoted price was $265.49 for four people. But when I arrived at the clubhouse, the attendant said it was $279.93 due to new electric carts. Then, my cart had to be switched mid-round because the battery was only at 15%. Before that, a ranger came out due to pace of play and suggested we skip a hole, but we couldn’t move since there were groups ahead of us. Additionally, the women’s tees lack proper cart paths, so it was cart path only, and we were almost hit by a ball from the group behind us. It’s a beautiful course, but the communication and setup really detracted from the day. I hope they make improvements.

Tees were in bad shape. Some staff not that friendly or helpful. Play was slow for a week day. Residents of surrounding condos were rude.
