Chehalem Glenn Golf Club sprawls across beautifully hilly terrain, providing a course that is not for the faint of heart. The course is defined by the dramatic changes in elevation, which can make it tough to walk. The steep hills make this a tough golf course even for high handicappers. Uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies abound and you'll also face forced carries to narrow landing areas as well as blind layup shots. The more open front nine is player friendly and the back nine is where it gets tougher with mostly tree-lined holes and more strategically placed bunkers. The golf course is as scenic as it is challenging with elevated tees and greens that overlooks the surrounding hills and valleys. The beauty and difficulty of the course has built Chehalem Glenn Golf Club a reputation as one of the greater Portland area's must-play courses.

Loved it!
This course was a challenge for me but I still loved it, can't wait to play there again.
I hope you like elevation changes!
This course is a blast. I never go here expecting to shoot my best round of the year, though. Layout is rough, plenty of hazards and unplayable natural areas, monst of the green and fairways are above and below the tees. I've never made par on 9 in the half dozen times I've played here. Drains pretty well in the winter, greens always roll great. For your first time, prioritize fairways, and leave the ball below the hole!
Aerating
The course was in really good shape except they were aerating 4 out of the last 5 fairways that made it a muddy mess..It would have been nice to know this when I made the tee time
Hilly
Course was on fantastic shape. Gets very hilly on the middle holes. Wish we took a cart.
Tough, but fair course!
Chehalem Glenn is a well-run course with friendly staff, smooth pace of play, and a layout that’s both challenging and fair. The rolling hills, elevation changes, and fast greens make it a true test of golf, while the welcoming atmosphere keeps it enjoyable.
Very hilly
We walked the course. Lots of hills. Would recommend renting a golf cart.
