The fairways were in horrible condition. We played this course for years. Never seen it like this.. was very disappointing

Excellent golf course. GOOD: fantastic scenery; great conditions; interesting combination of holes from the former Hidden Lakes GC and the new holes added by Jack Nicklaus; pretty wide open on the old holes and fairly skinny on the new. BAD: too many of the greens are just plain goofy; I'd like to know what Jack was thinking when he put all the humps and bumps and tiers in the greens; extremely fast and on a couple there were multiple breaks from even inside 15'. Slow play also was an issue. Three older gentlemen in front of the group ahead of us held up the entire course. I've seen glaciers move faster. The group ahead of us finally quick after 13 holes. Now right behind the slow pokes, it took close to two hours for us to finish the last five holes UGLY: I should have planned ahead since this place is out in the middle of nowhere and I arrived to only find out that the restaurant and bar were closed for a members-only event later that day; pro shop staff said the on-course cart would have sandwiches; saw the cart on the first hole and, no, she didn't have any sandwiches but she'd get some and come back out; finally saw her again on the 15th hole -- 3 hrs. later -- because she had been called off the course to help with the member event. There's not even drinkable water on the course. You expect better service from a course that gets $175 rack rate for 18 holes.

Super challenging and the layout is pure Nicklaus ++. Staff is so so good and above all it’s one of my favorite courses to play. I come to visit family in the area every summer and look very forward to playing TIC when I do. Well worth it.

Spectacular mountain course. Challenging to say the least, not like the resort courses in the area. My favorite Idaho golf course.

Awesome course to play. Breathtaking views. Bring plenty of extra balls!

This is the best and hardest course around. Would have been nice to know about the punched greens but I love playing here

This is a gorgeous course at any time of year, but on a warm Fall day… IDEAL! There was hardly anyone out, so the pace was fabulous! 3.5 hours for 18 holes on this course is very fast! Make sure you check to see whether or not the restaurant is open and the drinks cart is operating - this day it was not. That was a bit of a disappointment since I could have used some liquid courage over some of the water hazards! Other than that, what a beautiful day!

Excellent design, challenging, and fun. I was tougher on the conditions only because the greens were just punched. Although there were some areas on the fairways and rough that could use some extra attention.

Yes, the course is difficult, but still fun! The greens had been aerated, but we knew that before arriving. Pace was good and staff is always so friendly. The gals in front of us even got a HOLE IN ONE!! Way to go!!
