Exceptional Value
Thanks to Golf Now and a Hot Deal rate, the extra distance to get there made it worth while. Very interesting and challenging lay-out, good conditions and easily walkable. Need your A game for the greens though, fast and very tough to read.
This course played excellent!
The course was in great shape. Greens were fast in the sun, slower in the shade. Course was well maintained and pace was excrllent.

Hidden gem
I never knew of this course until it popped up on golf now. This has now become one of my favourite courses and come down from up island to play as much as I can. Staff is very friendly and I have a great experience each time.
Wonderful staff.
Although the greens had been punched a few days ago the groundscrew had done a fantastic job in making them playable. Always a pleasure to play this course ..Always given a nice welcome.

Cowichan Valley Treasure
This course has been around for a long time and is in great shape. It is well tended, the greens are perfect and the staff are stellar. You can’t go wrong with this course. Easily walkable and still a challenge.

Odd layout
Staff very friendly and the game moved along in 4 hours so that is vg. Greens were great! But a number of times three holes would be alongside each other so caution necessary. A few times where tee boxes were vulnerable to wild approach shots too, so a bit unnerving. Had trouble with yardage markers. No 150 bushes etc. Some holes had discs in middle of fairways for 100 and 150 yardages. One sprinkler head that I found had a yardage number. Couldn’t find the discs very often so that was frustrating.Fairways had longer grass than they should, but it is March... Pretty course with huge cedar lined fairways. Overall fun but could certainly address yardage marker issues.
