Mud Pit
The whole course was absolutely soaked. If you don’t hit the green, your tee shot is 100% getting plugged. No cart paths mean you have to walk through the fairways to the greens, which means you’re trudging through decently thick mud. This course is an institution, but needs to fix its severe drainage issues if it is going to stay open for Vancouver winters.

Sandy punched greens. Fairways are muddy and hairy.. leaves everywhere.
A better layout, better features, and drainage would help!
This course is well located and has lots of potential. However, the course is poorly built and not very well maintained. For example, most of the fairway areas are water-logged and muddy (even after two days of sun), leading to a real tough slug to make it through the course. In addition, there are no standard hazards (such as fairway or green sand traps). Finally, all of the holes are simple straight shots … no dog-legs or other similar layout features.
With a better layout, better features, and a lot better drainage, this could be a high-end executive golf course. Unfortunately, that is currently not the case (as of Oct 2021).

Not bad but still wet
Still wet in spots played it back in June was better. Would be nice if you could get a pork missile and a beer at the turn.

better drainage
no doubt there is better drainage however they put in wood chips in areas that had bad drainage and now if you land in this area, its lift and place. Its still a nice tlttle rrack and would recommend the course and the driving range

Good course for practice
Very fun course with good challenges
We enjoyed our time at Musquem. staff were all friendly accomodating and courteous. the course does not have many bunkers but there were plenty of challenges through trees and creeks to keep the seasoned golfer on their toes.. Greens were in good shape.
