About
Eagles Nest Golf Club sprawls across a rugged landscape of sand dunes and dense fescue that was formerly a sand and gravel quarry. The terrain is the ideal setting for a scenic, challenging round. The golf course's layout is a unique links design by Canada's top course architect, Doug Carrick, who incorporated slick, fast greens and meticulously manicured fairways. Golfers face many precarious challenges including sod wall bunkers, vast waste areas, and prevailing winds. Eagles Nest Golf Club offers panoramic views of downtown Toronto, especially on the par-3 8th hole. One of the most notably difficult holes is the par-5 17th, which features a split fairway, water, fescue, and a desert-like waste bunker.

Golfer Reviews
Great challenging course
This was my second time playing here and it didn't disappoint me, well, except my score. Lol
Challenging course and layout, especially fast and complicated greens, but that made it more fun.
It's pricy but you get what you pay for, in a good way.
No complaints whatsoever and I really enjoyed the round with my friends.
Outstanding
I understand why this is one of Canada’s top semi private courses beautifully kept ;links style course plenty of distant tees to short great locker room great restaurant ,people were very hospital. Beautiful clubhouse and a very tough track. I am a three handicap. My son is a college golfer, we enjoyed it thoroughly.
Overpriced and greens needing some attention
Beautiful course, loved the difficulty of the layout.
Upkeep and attention to detail was needing improvement. Greens had a lot of damage, rolled inconsistently and you could see signs of fungus starting to invade some greens.
Fairways were in great condition
Staff didn’t seem interested in their jobs when there was staff. No starter, no one on the course to ensure proper pace of play (which was a challenge on the day we played).
Overall, a picturesque course that deserved its downward slide rating over the past 3 years. Give the course the love it deserves or accept that you aren’t one of the premier courses in the area anymore.
Lack of marshals
Overall course was fantastic. Only draw back was the pace of play by the group in front of us. Numerous holes group in front of them were already off the next tee driving away and our group in front wasn’t even on the green. Took minimum 6-7 shots at least to reach the green. Not one single marshal on the course making sure pace of play was being kept up
High end track
The group ahead of us spent all day in the fescue. Seemed to me that they were playing the wrong blocks or a course that was to difficult for their ability. No marshal moving things along.
Perfect day for golf. Lots of sun and light breeze. Course in super shape.
Bring your A game
This is a beautiful course, sneaky long. The back has always been windy when I’ve played here. Spring, summer and fall. Since this is a public course I’d definitely recommend cutting down the hay on the mounds and making the rough a little shorter. During your round you’ll constantly see players looking for errant shots!
awesome greens / pot bunkers
awesome course but a 5hr round way too long and allowing players to play from the wrong t deck , marshall needs to do a better job
Great course
Great course with very challenging layout, spectacular facilities, and amazing staff. Literally everyone we met who worked here was very friendly, helpful, and respectful. TY.
This would have been a 5* review except it was end of season, so divots were not repaired, and it was seriously cold....
Yes.
Sure it’s a little pricey but everything about this course makes it worthwhile, from the maintenance, to the staff, layout, bunkers, greens, you feel as though you’re definitely experiencing a PGA level environment.
Play, you won’t regret it.
