Garden City Golf Course

Played this course for the first time today. I'm just a casual golfer so not that great but I really enjoyed playing this course.

Challenging enough for me and although it's not too hilly, there are some elevation changes here & there. Course was in pretty good shape for late September. I had expected more wear 'n tear being late in the season.

Excellent value compared to most other courses and there's a nice little club house with an outdoor deck should you want a burger or dog and a cold beverage after your game.

I'll be back for sure!

I booked on GolfNow for 4 players. When we got to the course, we ere told that our book was void because the course was not the partner of GolfNow anymore. What is your feeling when this happened? Suck…

He kept saying that talk to Golfnow if you have a issue, and they don't provide Golf Cart which included in Teeoff deal.

Very rude and so felt so bad on his attitude.

Showed up for my round 10 minutes before tee off.

Was cloudy out with a light rain, but you could see clear skies in the distance the direction of the wind.

Guy at the desk said “It’s going to storm”, an I replied with “ weather app says its going to clear up an I can see clear skies”. He says “no were going to close up for the day, sorry” . I say “well I already booked online can’t we just play?” . In which was met with frustration, “no were going to close up!” I leave an go to the Brock course 10 minutes later… and what do you know, rain stops, and the weather was gorgeous the rest of the evening.

1. The discrepancy between the course and golf now should be fixed regarding the carts.

2. The grass off the fairways should be shorter as balls just disappear..

3. How is it that cash is not accepted when it is legal tender..

Had a discrepancy with the booking which included a golf cart booked through golf now. The course said a cart was not included even though it was booked that way on the app and it was my responsibility to correct the issue. The mistake was made between Golf Now and the course and it’s not my responsibility to correct their mistake which they say has happened to others in the past. This is very poor management.

Best condition in years. Greens are in great shape. The only negative is the rough was pretty deep. Hard to find your ball if you miss the fairway.

Great course for practicing your short irons, chipping and putting

First time playing this course. Greens were in great shape, fairways not so much. The hot humid weather we’ve had the last few weeks definitely took it’s toll on the fairways. Definitely a fun course to play.

Love the course and price. Was out of push carts, would be even better with more push cart and golf cart.
