Nice course
Played on 8/4, not paired. Staff very nice! Carts were gas, no cooler or ball/club washers. There are ball washers on the course. Portajohns appeared clean. The only divot filler was on par 3s. Tee boxes, fairways were mostly nice turf grass. Greens really good although there are so many golfers that don’t fix their divots! There is very little trash noted so this keeps the course aesthetically nice to look at! The rough is very thick grass so easy to lose your ball. The track itself has enough challenge for everyone, pick your tee box appropriately. Would recommend this course!
Truly a gem!
This beautiful course is so well maintained and represents one of the nicer tracks in the Quad city area for the price.
Fun course in great condition
Highly recommend! Luckily, I live close to this course and get to play it often. The owners are a local family and this course is in great condition. Love the mature trees, fast greens, hills and lack of houses.
Hidden Gem
One of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. With rolling hills and dog leg challenges, makes me wish I lived closer. Candidly, I played the day after a massive storm so I didn’t have to be concerned about pace of play that other people report. I will say, the course conditions after the storm were incredible. Whomever it is managing the course should be managing a professional course. I can see why the pace could slow down. With the elevation changes, you simply cannot tell where the players are in front of you at times. You’re just not sure if you can tee off. There are risk reward holes, attempt to cut corners and it may pay off. If I lived closer, I’d play it every day.
First time out 2026
Course was in pretty good condition. Weather was great. Pace of play was a little slower than expected. There was a group in five in front of us in a group of four in front of them so it really kinda bogged the rest of us down.
Course is well-maintained and provides some good variety. Fairways were good, rough was a good and playable length, and greens rolled fair. I paid online and even though it said cart was included, they made me pay an extra cart fee at the course when I arrived. Still good value, but something that needs to be ironed out.
Great Course
I love Byron Hills. This course offers a nice variety of holes. Challenging, yet a fair test.
Bang for the buck!!!
Great little course. Well maintained, and family friendly. Only complaint would be the lack of driving range. The greens were fast, and the beers were cold!
real nice course pace of play bad need a ranger 5 hrs to play 18 holes real bad
