Birthday round
Great conditions, challenging but fair. Tee boxes offer a fair play for every skill level. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. Wish I lived near by I would love to be a member.
Beautiful, Challenging Course that requires much walking
TPC Deere Run is a beautiful and challenging course with its rolling hills, strategic bunkers and multiple water hazards. The course was fun to play but the day we played the entire course was cart path only. This is not a course that you want to walk. With its undulating rolling fairways, walking to your shot was very tiring and exhausting. The carts could use a GPS system too.
Amazing!
I was lucky enough to play here a few times this year, every time it was awesome. The course is in amazing condition with great views. The staff is extremely courteous & helpful. More importantly they are always beyond pleasant to deal with. Overall the course & the experience is phenomenal!
GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!
Obviously, being the home of a PGA tournament, the course is phenomenal. I was also very impressed with the how friendly the staff was. There are so many munis in the area where the staff always seems grumpy, not here though. I would highly recommend playing here if you ever get the opportunity. It’s a more costly course, as it should be, but with TeeOff you’re able to get a very reasonable cost. Great value!
Great golf experience
Wonderful course… staff extremely helpful and friendly. Pace of play actually a bit too fast. At times felt like being rushed
The course was great except the rough was ridiculously high. The Open tournament would not be that high. Could not find a ball in it. Otherwise it’s a great track.
My 2nd favorite course ever behind Olympic Club
This is a must play course. Mint condition, excellent facilities and beautiful views.
Mothers Day at Deere Run
I really like the layout of the course! The negatives for the day were the wind with gusts up to 20 mph, seemed like it was very steady anytime I was playing into it which magically seemed like all the time in the long par 4’s.
I had no choice but to play them as par 5’s!
Rough was extra long as well due to the rain the area had received lately. To top it off some areas of the fairway were being repaired to prepare for the tournament I would guess.
None the less I like the layout of the course and feel if I were playing without the constant wind I would have more opportunities to score. Looking forward to playing on a calmer day.
TPC Deere Run
WOW! What a course!!! Absolutely beautiful- even with some renovations happening on the back 9. Staff, pro shop, and course top notch! So cool to play a TPC where the pros play every year. Had a chance for a birdie and the greens ate me up = par.
Such a fun course will make an annual trip to the Quad Cities to play here again. After a wonderful day on this course head 7 minutes up the road to Frank’s Pizza to cap off a great day!
Thanks TPC Deere Run; see you soon!
I don’t like surprises when I drive 5 hours to play
I booked the round to play TPC Deere Run and travelled to Illinois from Michigan to play it.
When I walked in the Person in the pro shop said we could only play the front 9, but could play it twice.
THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATED WHEN I BOOKED IT. On top of this disappointment, greens crews were working around / other greens.
This is a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!
This course is awesome
I had a great time and can’t wait to go back and play again. The only bad thing was the last 4 holes were under repair.
Great Course
It is a great course! Paying $119.00 + tax and not getting to play the final 3 hole due to construction really sucked.
Great course at a decent price. Would have liked to have played the last four holes but they were under construction and unavailable.
Great Course, Hit it Straight. First Time here
A 71 par course with THICK rough. The course is very fair and was a great experience. It is a good experience for all levels, but the rough will penalize you everywhere.
The Front nine has a great arrangement of holes with the only par five being the second hole. This personally being my favorite on the front. The tee shot has to be a well struck ball to put you in a position to reach in two. The hole is called the Colonel Davenport and has a nice old time barn behind the green. The water placement on the left of the fairway up to the green makes you consider going for it or being smart and laying up.
The back nine would be easier of the nine in my opinion and gives you a chance to score. The last hole was my favorite of the course, due to a narrow landing area and water up along the left side 60 yard and to the green .
The course was in great condition and the greens were rolling at a 10'5. The greens have subtle break which allows you to score well and go low as long as you hit fairways and greens.
I will be making a yearly trip to this course, highly recommend.
