Golfmohr Golf Course

The course itself was actually in pretty good shape considering the price. If you're looking for an affordable round, the conditions are fair for what you pay. However, from a golf standpoint, the layout leaves a lot to be desired. Other than a few doglegs, the course is very flat, short, and doesn't provide much of a challenge.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue wasn't the course, it was the overall experience. The two men running the clubhouse were rude and seemed irritated from the moment we arrived. It felt like they had a problem with the fact that we weren't locals and had found the course through GolfNow. While they were very strict about tee times, that attention certainly didn't carry over to pace-of-play management.

The pace of play was some of the worst I've experienced. At one point, there was a threesome on the green, a twosome in the fairway/rough, another twosome at the forward tees, and a threesome waiting on the white tees, not including my twosome waiting to even approach the tee box. To make matters worse, there was a single golfer behind us playing three balls because the backups were so severe.

For context, my father shot an 83 and I shot a 79, so we were not holding anyone up. The delays were entirely due to poor course management and overcrowding.

While the course conditions were acceptable for the cost, the rude staff and lack of pace-of-play enforcement completely ruined the experience. Because of the clubhouse employees' demeanor and the course management issues, I will not be returning.

$27 to walk 18? In this economy? The quality far exceeds the value of cost. Great public track for those visiting from out of town.

Played on 8/3, not paired. Grew up playing this course with my dad and always liked it! Most of it in good condition with minimal patchy areas, overall quite green and lush. Greens were running a little fast. Portajohns were decent. Staff was very nice. This course has been around a while so some of the buildings need renovations. The track is nice, not too difficult for us seniors and ladies. Will definitely play again when back in my hometown!

Certain aspects of the course were extremely rough. For example, what was in the sand traps couldn’t even be considered sand closer to cement. I know it’s been dry in the area, but you have to water the fairways.

Also, the Cart paths had potholes and disintegrated cement and asphalt throughout the course.

The course layout was interesting, but certainly didn’t make up for the deficiencies previously noted.

The service was super friendly! The course is in perfect shape. Greens not too fast or slow. For as busy as it was and our group being a threesome, the pace of play was absolutely perfect.

I like this course, play it 5 or 6 times a year. Perfect for my bogey game, pars are like birdies to me!! Hit em straight!

This was the 2 nd time we’ve played this course and each time the staff was friendly and the rates were good. The course was also in great condition!

For the price, you can't beat this course. I am an older (76) intermefiate (14 Hdcp) golfer and I found this course challenging and very playable. Good tee boxes, fairways, and greens.

Due to rain and lightning during our round, we were only able to play 9 holes. Hoping to get a rain check!!

We have golf there a few times now and always in great condition. Fun course to play!!
