Greens are awesome
Played this course for 30 yrs. Greens in best condition ever. Most likely due in part to all the trees they took down.
Course fka “Round Hill”
Good conditions, a definite value play after 2 PM. Greens are in excellent condition but roll slow.
Need to be able to manage all types of side hill lies.
No starter
Very slow some people don’t understand golf educate and when to pick move on.
Still A Great Deal
Well worth the 48 bucks with a cart. Played there last month. In very nice condition, but the greens were very slow, but immaculate! I hope to play there soon. And I even drive from Dartmouth to do so.
Been coming here for years and always have a great time
I grew up in town, and I’ve always felt at home at Sandwich Hollows. Really fun and challenging course without feeling inaccessible. Nice staff and a good 19th hole doesn’t hurt either!
Great value
Got a hot deal on golf now. Paid $42. Course was in good shape. Very elevated course with a lot of uphill and down hill lies. Not a walkable course. The front 9 was more enjoyable than the back 9. The back had some funky holes. For the price I would play again
Great time
Had a great time with my son, his first time playing the course
First time playing Sandwich Hollows....
Overall fun track. Great variation with each hole with blind shots keeps it interesting. Undulating and steep fairways and front to back sloping greens.
The course could be mowed tighter or more frequently. Approaches can be tricky, with bunkers surrounding most holes and elevated greens.
Only one water hazard, which is generally easy to stay out of trouble, unless you hit an errant ball.
Fairways and tee boxes were in pretty good shape. Not a lot of roll - well we played after a rainy night so ground was a bit soft.
The Bad: The greens are wicked slow and have no roll. Don't over-estimate the breaks. Racked up extra putts due to the ball stopping short because there was no roll!!!
Great course
Pro shop is friendly cafe is fine. The course is well maintained.
Great
I loved the layout of course and quality of green is good.
Always beautiful course
We played a full 18 holes; entire course was available. A lot of maintenance has been done and hats off to the landscaping crew for their hard work: some new golf paths, tee boxes, and stairs. Course attendance was pretty sedate so no issues with pace of play. Plus with the winding course through hills and valleys (and hollows), you don’t see other groups anyway. Whatever you do, stay on the fairways; rough is rough, but that’s the charm of the course that brings us back again and again.
