First time back in several years
My wife and I used to live in Midland and played Currie West often. Took a shot at it again. The only reason we can't rate a 5 were their golf carts. They are very dates, very slow, constantly backfired and left us feeling they would die at any moment. They didn't but we left questioning if pricing was justified.
Great condition, greens were fast and true
First time playing again in decades. Was really surprised with the condition. Tons of tee boxes and the blacks played over 7,000 yards. Will be back
Nice muni course for the money
Challenging layout for beginners, yet very playable. The pace of play is questionable at times but overall a great course for the money!
Great Muni course
Well maintained with nice fairways and greens. Pretty easy as there aren’t any hazards on the East course.
My favorite getaway in the middle of it all
I swear I get excited when I'm headed down Jerome looking over the East course.... I know I'm minutes away from teeing it up at my favorite 9 hole course around. When the amazing WEST course is full, I love the east.
Slow!!!!
Great course. Started my 18 holes at 3:30 front to back. Front took me and another 2 hours. Once we hit the turn they had a “fun” league teeing of the back at 4:30. Took us 4 hours to play the back.
Course Conditions
I love Currie and play on the East several times per week. I played the west today. The first several holes were in really bad shape. After that, it was as nice as it normally is.
Nice Course
This was a pleasant surprise for a municipal course. Course in great shape.
nice beginner course
Great for newbies that slice the ball a lot. No water hazards or bunkers make for an interesting 9 hole course.
Course in Good Condition
The course was very wet after heavy rain the day before. But overall course is going a good job at keeping the course in good condition.
Target golf
Need to be exact. the 9 hole course is good. The 18 hole course no thank you. Wall of high grass 3 feet in fron the tee box. Have to cover 120 years.
