First time out there and thoroughly enjoyed it! Staff was excellent and helpful. Definitely will go back!

Wonderful. This course is a gem. Everything about it is superb. Greens were just right. Not too fast, not too slow. Tee boxes are well placed. What a view from tee box #8. Well worth the 30 minute drive from Bismarck.
Hidden Gem
More people should know about this course. It is a great value for the money. It is a fun layout and still challenging.
What a surprise!
On the advice of a couple locals in Bismark I decided to play this course last minute. What a surprise!! Great layout, super friendly staff, great conditions and an absolute steal of a price. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Painted Woods Creek Park in Washburn
Due to the dry weather half the greens are really dry and a little rough. Otherwise it’s a wonderful course with beautiful views!
Painted Woods Golf Course
The course is well managed and the pace is relaxed. The snack shack on the course is a great amenity! The greens are usually quick and challenging. The views are amazing. Following the creek, surrounded by farms it’s a gem of course. The staff make it one of my favorites in ND.
Beautiful course in great shape.
For the price this course is unbeatable. It is absolutely gorgeous and in excellent condition. Great hole variety with fun elevation changes and a variety of hazards that make play challenging but rewarding. I ran into an issue with another golfer on the course and the GM, John Tipping, was fair and professional and polite. My hat goes off to the staff. You can tell this course is loved. I will be coming back.
Excellent Course!
This is an excellent course. So fun to play and well maintained. The scenery is so good. It is a hard course so don’t use your good balls. The only downside is figuring out the layout and knowing where the next hole is. There is large number signs but hard to find at times. It did not detract from the experience overall… Kind of an adventure.
I will be playing this course again.
