Beechwood Golf Course - Creekside/Lakeview
About
Located just outside of Arcanum, Beechwood Golf Course proudly holds the title of the being the only 27-hole golf course in Darke County. The holes are played in three different 18-hole combinations that are made up of two distinct nines. The Creekside/Lakeview course, as one would guess, features plenty of water. The third hole on the Creekside nine is notable for the severe dogleg left fairway. Lakeview is the newest of the three nines, added in 1997 almost 10 years after the original golf course. This nine continues the challenges with forced carries over water on the second and third holes. In addition to the water, there is extensive mounding throughout the course that accentuates the already hilly terrain, making an even lie somewhat hard to find.

Love the coursr
They recently installed GPS on all of their carts. They are set right. Beep even when you are on the cart path. Didn't work at all last 3 holes on front. I love to walk but when golfing and it is very hot out, way to much walking with the GPS. I think they have lost our business. I went to the desk to tell them when we finished and they laughed at me and didn't comment except to say, it beeps even when you're on the cart path.
Three 9 hole courses to choice from. Had a great day and can’t say enough about the employees. From the employee collecting balls on the driving range to the office staff. great friendly environment. On these courses, you can flirt with the trees, the water, are some of the long part fives. We will definitely return to play the other nine whole course. Greens are in good shape, some places in the fairways were a little thin, but it is that time of year again. Overall, a great experience and looking forward in going back.
Poor conditions
Granted, the rainy spring/summer is a challenge but it seems little effort has been made to attend to fairways and traps. The greens are so so. In this condition it’s at most a $25 with cart 18 hole course.
Nice course, relaxing
Beautiful course, enjoyed the day with a couple of guys that had not played in years
Didn’t see anyone, pace of play was good for us
Thanks
Always a great time
Beechwood Golf Course is always a great time—friendly players, a well-maintained course, and a helpful clubhouse team make it one of my favorite places to play.
6/20
Disappointed with the lack of maintenance on the bunkers. They were full of weeds, retaining walls falling down, some were being removed. The greens were in good shape
Beechwood
Beechwood has been up and down in recent years. I was pleasantly surprised on my recent round. There were clear efforts at improvement. There was fresh gravel on the cart paths which eliminated most of the old potholes. The greens were great too.
We love Beachwood
We love Beachwood in every way except they need some handicap parking spots. According to Ohio law they should have atleast 4-5 spots for the size of the lot.
