The Golf Club of Bucyrus

The course was in near mint condition. The greens didn't have a ton of divot marks, the tee boxes were in really good shape for this time of year. The BBQ place upstairs (30 BBQ) is a must for lunch or dinner.

The new clubhouse was really needed, they did a great job with it. they also got new golf carts this year which was a plus.

Have a history playing here - course is in great condition with Fantastic Greens ! Hadn’t played in couple years - kudos to management there - new clubhouse , better tee boxes, great people behind the counter , even the emails are great ! My group’s going back , much sooner I’m sure !

I've played this course twice in the past two weeks, the first time on a Friday and the second on a Tuesday. Our experience on Friday was horrible. The course was absolutely packed, and it took 3 hours to play the first 9 holes. We waited with the group in front of us on almost every tee. In spite of that excruciating experience, I liked the course, so I gave it another chance on a Tuesday, and it was great. The pace of play was perfect. Overall, it's a nice course. My biggest complaint is the terrible condition of the cart paths. If/when they are repaired or replaced, the course will be great!

I've always enjoyed this course, but recently it seems that they are so concerned with getting as much play as possible that they are sending groups out on top of one another, and they do nothing to monitor the pace of play. Our last round took over 5 hours, including over 3 hours for the front 9 alone. We waited on the same tee boxes with the group in front of us for the entire front 9, and there were multiple times in which we were one of 3 groups on the same tee. Excruciatingly long day.

Great greens. We'll kept. Great value. Like playing there.

Improves every time you play. A very courteous and professional staff that is welcoming every time.

It’s a bit of a hike to get here from Columbus area, but this course is a great condition. There are some tight fairways and challenging holes. They moved the pro shop to the gray outbuilding, right near where it used to be located. The new pro shop is really slick, they did a really good job. Looks like they got new carts this year!

The restaurant above the golf course, 30 BBQ has excellent food!

I got a hot deal with a discount code. I will happily play this place again at full price if I have to.

I mean, everything was in really great shape. Some soggy high water spots, but y'all took a direct hit from a tornado not even 3 weeks ago. And you wouldn't know unless you lived here or happen to be a meteorologist and know what to look for enough to realize it subconsciously.

Well done. I look forward to many rounds here, and possibly a season pass in the future.

Nice course...greens were in good conditions...Friendly and helpful staff....only recomendation is to have access to water or drinks on the course.

All positives on 100 years old course happening next year with only exception needing new golf carts. Otherwise this is just an awesome gem.

Great day for Nov. Not many golfers. Reduced price. Lots of leaves as you expect for Nov 16. Good shape overall

Great way to enjoy a wonderful fall day. Tight undulating fairways make it challenging but fun. Other than Mother Nature blowing the leaves the course conditions would be a five. Great price and friendly staff. Will definitely play again.

We had played this course years ago & it was in really bad shape. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was now. It's a good value as well. Afterwards we ate at their restaurant & it was delicious! We will go back & play again. Definitely recommended!!

Course has a terrific layout and some wonderful built up greens. The original 20s greens are terrific and worth the effort to play. Course uses the ravines and terrain around well.
