My favorite golf course to play
Me and my wife golf here 4 days a week and we absolutely love it. I absolutely love the dog legs and both par 5’s are some of the best we’ve played all around. The tee boxes on some holes are a little rough. The staff is the best staff you’ll meet all around. The greens are also some of the most challenging I’ve ever played you can never get used to where that cup will be!
Great greens
The place has great undulating greens but thats the only thing I go for. Tee boxes are pretty rough. Fairways are decent. Its worth going on a deal, but not full price in my opinion.
Meh!
The course has improved since the last time I played there, but still has a long way to go. When I called to make a tee time, I was told they didn’t have any times available, although their website indicated several open times. I ended up booking a time on GolfNow for less than I would have paid at the course. Pace of play was great on the front nine, but when we made the turn, they had put out several groups off the back and we then proceeded to wait on EVERY SHOT! The unwillingness to allow me to schedule a tee time and the extremely slow play caused by sticking groups off the back when people are turning would make me reluctant to return.
OKAY
Harvest Moon is an okay golf experience. It's well-suited for my game. Not that many hazards on the front nine and minimal water.
The greens were in good shape and and presented a nice challenge. On the other hand, the fairways were scrubby and sparce in places and there was an apparent sewage problem on the course due to the strong odor.
Course routing between #2 and #3 was unclear and signage was concealed by tree branches.
Rough Course
Harvest Moon (previously St. Mikes) used to be one of my favorite courses. The last 3 times I’ve gone, I have been very disappointed. The course quality has gone downhill. Tee boxes are torn up, rough is very long, and there are frequently issues with drainage. Sad to see as I used to love playing here.
Definitely will play again
Very fun course to play. There was recently tons of rain and high winds, but the course was in good shape. Staff and fellow golfers were incredibly friendly. On the front nine we didn't have to wait on any tees. At the turn we were going into the clubhouse as a foursome that was in front of us were coming out. They said hi, and when you guys catch up we will wave you through. That doesn't happen everywhere we play. The course is tight on the front but opens up on the back. Greens are small and domed, medium speed and putt true. A very good course and we will be back. It's 45 minutes from our house but worth the drive.
Friendly course
Course in need of repairs to it’s the sprinkler system and better signs to help golfers navigate course . Could use more employees to keep grounds up and looking nice.
Course is great and has a winery with food truck and music!
This course is awesome and we love the front nine especially! The greens are supple even with the drought conditions we’ve had lately, however many of the tee boxes need TLC. They have large areas of just hard dirt and sand and no grass to tee off from. I think they should do a little bit of trimming around the course, also the carts are mostly broken in one way or another but I’m hopeful that continuing to support the course will lead to them getting better carts and ability to maintain rough and tee boxes better. but for the money this course is awesome
Pay back my play fee to me
I booked and paid playing fee through Golf Now the day before.however my reservation wasn’t recognized by course. We couldn’t play.
I couldn’t cancel reservation through Golf Now.
I want Golf Now to pay back my playing fee to me.
Amazing course
Every time I go it is an amazing time and I think every one should go
Very very poor golf etiquette
I was only able to get 12 holes in and left very unhappy. I was golfing in a twosome and nobody would allow us to play through. There was a threesome in front of us with a young golfer with them and they were extremely slow and would not allow us to play through even after seeing us standing on tee box ready to play still not allowing us to play through. We then skipped a hole ahead of them, come to find out there was a six some ahead of them. They would not even allow us to play through. After waiting for at least 20 min to tee off decided to leave. This was the worst 12 holes of golf I have ever experienced. Would not even consider recommending this golf course to anyone.
Any level golfer!
One of the first courses i ever went to. Still love going there any chance i get. Play works great for any level golfer. And no Houses to worry about hitting.
