Solid Value
Course is in decent shape. Fun layout. Friendlier staff. Golf carts are okay. If you find something to complain about, you're the problem. It's a fun course, in expected shape for the price and most importantly great value. I wouldn't go out of your way for this place but if you want to change it up from your usual courses, this is a solid place to do so!
Nice conditions-well manicured fairways, well-kept green
After playing 18 holes at Bedford trails, I decided to stop by pine lakes to play another 9 holes. The pace of play was a little slow, but course conditions made up for the wait. The fairways were fescue, the rough was neatly cut, then the greens were soft, rolled well, and were smooth.
Nice course! Good quality/value for the money. Layout isn’t the greatest, but no complaints. Go play Pine Lakes sometimes! It’s a good deal!
Pretty good
There are a lot of instances where golfers play on each others fairway due to the tight layout of each hole. The fairways and greens were in pretty good shape which made for an enjoyable experience. The cart paths were pretty rugged in some areas and unusable.
Plenty of Play Here
This was our second stop on the Penn-Ohio Golf Trail and it was convenient as we stayed at the bed & breakfast adjacent to the course.
Very often played golf course. Starter was great and funny. Play was a bit slow to start as we teed off 20 minutes later than out scheduled tee time.Greens and fairways were in fine shape BUT the cart paths are in severe disrepair across 90% of the course - potholes and tree roots being the culprit.
Fun and moderately challenging layout.
Easy fairways small greens
Nice course, but the cart paths are rough. Some of the holes are a little confusing to get to from the previous hole. Greens were in great condition and fairways as well. Staff seems very friendly and accommodating. I would play it again.
Disappointed
Played this course 2X earlier this year & it was surprisingly well maintained for early season. Very disappointed this time though. Rough looked like it had not been cut for 2 weeks. Greens were very inconsistent. Fairway divots had not been filled for at least a week. And the pace was ridiculous even for a holiday weekend. We were waiting on the tees for at least10 minutes on every hole. Maybe it was just a bad week? I hope so, I like the course & the staff was awesome.

A terribly maintained golf course

Unbelievable value!
Teed off as a single at 0730, only a single ahead of me, so can’t speak to pace of play. Beautiful layout, nice variety of holes. Highly recommend! I’m a 12 handicap.
Fine Course with Goose problem
This is a fine golf course with a good layout and is well maintained. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. But, over the past few years the goose problem has become quite bad. Goose droppings are everywhere (greens, fairways). There are literally hundreds of geese on the property. The problem should have been addressed years ago when a few showed up. There are companies that use dogs to harass the geese from the property. Without some effort to rid the golf course of the problem, it will only get worse.
Over booked!
The course is great! But we had to wait on every single hole! Sometimes it was 3 groups waiting. How do you not monitor your course. They have a starter, so he should be aware of the backup.

Well worth it!!
I’ve played pine lakes countless times and I gotta say this year it has been in some of the best shape I’ve seen it! (Even after the rain the morning of) a lot of forgiving tee shots with tough tempting approach shots. Greens roll great and even fast for it raining that morning
