Tale of two sides
Did every thing right on the front side,which I fel is harder because of the steep greens(anywhere except below the hole is pretty tough on the average golfer. I do feel the senior tees are fair for us older and shorter golfers.The course was in it’s usual perfect condition. And the pace of play was great about 3 hrs. It’s becoming one of our go to courses.
Packed
Very busy day. Went off #10. Directional signage between holes needs some improvement. Course had lots of trouble, challenging.. Tough day.
Small fast greens
Living 8 minutes away I should golf at Pine Lakes more than I do, but i just have such a hard time with the first 4 out of 5 greens on the front nine.the greens are fast and unless your south of the hole on your first putt you will be on your second one unless it goes in. Maybe if I were a better golfer I would love these challenging holes as I truly love the rest of the course.. The course is in superb shape and quite enjoyable. Oh by the way the practice greens should get you ready for those first 5 holes because you putts will roll right of these greens also.
Weather changed and so did the scores
We teed off in 46-degrees and sunny weather....putted out on 18 in 36-degrees, 25 mph wind and snow. The course, as always, was in great shape. They have removed a ton of trees, which made a few holes much easier. the greens were rolling well, the fairways were freshly mowed, and the tee boxes were in good shape. We played 10-18 first, and the weather allowed for some good scoring. The wind picked up after the turn and it was a tough finish slogging up the 9th fairway in driving snow and wind. The pro at the shop was friendly, everything was COVID compliant, the pace was great (18 holes walking in 3:25 ) . No complaints at all!
Pleasant surprise!
First time experience for Pine Lakes went extremely well.
Golf course equipped with an abundance of carts to play 1 per cart despite large turn out. There were lots of water to challenge your game, but not overtly difficult and pace of play was very good.
Pristine golf course with great ownership.
Love to play here. Golfers are friendly and pace has always been fast. Greens are in great shape. Sand traps have best sand in area and groomed like a professional course. Staff is friendly and golf carts are all in good shape. Best kept secret golf course in the area. Go play.
Horrible pace of play
Previously read the reviews about the pace of play and didnt think it would actually be as bad as it was. As a twosome, first got to the course and was told "Golf now paired you with another twosome." I have never had that happen. Was basically double booked I'm sure to ensure maximum earnings for today. Dissappointed to say the least. Would not recommend.

Nice course, slow play
Beautiful course. Played well. Had a couple slower paced groups in front of us.

Great would have been better with a Marshall to keep pace of play better. Great price and very nice course.
Course conditions
The course was in very poor condition. The was maple seeds all over every green on fairway was completely covered with them. Impossible to putt. The sand traps were full of weeds and unplayable. I played the course a few years ago and it was nice. Looks like no maintenance has been done. I realize it’s been a rainy spring. But other courses I have played are in nice condition. Especially weekends someone should haven blowing the greens to get rid of the seedlings.

Nice layout
Really nice course, flat with a few challenges for the average golfer. My first time playing this course, was a little wet around a few greens but ball was clearly visible in the fairway. Staff was friendly, definitely plan to come back when its completely dry.
Pine Lakes
Course was in great shape considering all the rain we have gotten lately. Staff is always friendly. Have played here before. If it was closer , I would play a lot more often. Price for the course is great.
