Timberview Golf Club
About
Timberview Golf Club rolls across a diverse landscape that is ideal for a challenging round. The rolling terrain is covered with mature trees, ponds, and creeks. There is a housing development surrounding the golf course, but the houses do not intrude into the game. The layout features seven holes that were carefully carved from the dense forests and fourteen holes with water hazards coming into play. The course has a good balance of player-friendly holes and more challenging holes. The wide fairways are well manicured and the undulating greens are medium in size. In addition to the water and trees, sand fiercely guards the greens on half of the holes. The layout is still gentle enough to appeal to beginners. Timberview also offers two practice putting greens.

Decent for the $
Hard to find ball in rough as it isn’t mowed, and greens are basically like putting on carpet. For the $, it’s a good place to get some practice in and is pretty cheap. Was able to get through 9 holes in under an hour so pace of play was also nice.
A gem in Marysville Ohio
I was visiting the area and wanted to play a few holes, so I looked up local courses on Golfnow and Timberview came up.
It was a very pleasant experience. The pro-shop was very nice and the staff went out of their way to get me to the first tee box.
I can't wait to return to Ohio and visit them again!
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Earl H.
Value and fun layout
Some challenging holes, greens are tough, highly recommend this for the value. Its not a top end course but for its price its a highly recommend
Good course overall. Service for food at the turn a little slow. 20 minutes. Otherwise friendly and courteous.
Nice people, Awful course
The workers were friendly and nice but that is where the fun ended… the course was a complete joke. I do landscaping and I can say the issues here are not lack of employees or equipment but simply lack of care. Several spots where it just looked like they skipped mowing an area because it would be too difficult.
All in all I will never return unless they pay me to play here. It’s just not worth it.
Improving Nicely and Great Value!
I am impressed with the recent improvements and the way the course is coming along. Every aspect of this course has improved from where it was earlier in the year. I believe these improvements will continue and it’s by far the best value around! Keep up the good work and kudos to the staff!
Timberview
About what you'd expect for a $20.00 round with a cart. No complaints. Just wanted to get out & play.
Don’t waste the money
If you want to play a goat pasture of mud and clover then this is your course
Great deal for a Sunday!
Pro Shop and bartender could not have been nicer; very friendly. Made a reservation less than 24hrs in advance--great deal for 18 holes + cart. Hot day, after a day of heavy rain. My wife and I aren't great golfers, so not necessarily seeking pristine conditions--our game doesn't warrant that! Still, more experienced golfers might feel the course is a bit rough: cart paths heavily rutted and puddled from yesterday's rain. Greens had a few bare patches, fairway grass not too different from rough. Position of trees added to the challenge (in a good way) at tee-off and from fareway; unique design. We'd go back if the price was similar.
Downhill plunge in 10 years ! They don’t care either !
Played this course since it’s beginning - First 15 years , they cared ! Old guy at Pro Shop greeted me with “ don’t have any friends to play with ? “ - since I planned practice shots 9 holes alone. Mr. Personality should retire - SOON ! These people are lazy - fairways not cut, rough is abominable - you can’t find the ball anywhere - 10 yards from green ! No tee markers on several holes . There is dirt in middle of many greens , instead of grass. No starter to be found on Saturday at noon - they don’t group onesy’s - just fire them off like peashooter . Slowest 9 holes in 3 years anywhere. Do Marysville & Golfers a favor - sell this course , quit , or just give up and walk away - You guys give golf a bad name ! In spite of their mess - I shot even par 9 holes - still like the layout - give ME the course , cause I grew up in Akron where such abortion courses don’t exist.
