Great day for Golf at a super place
WE enjoy playing courses that are challenging yet enjoyable. Rawiga is a beautiful corse well laid out and extremely fun to play! Both the front and the back 9s are awesome and choosing the right club can be a challenge. This course is our favorite course and we play it as often as possible. (When everyone is available and the weather is good, usually Wednesdays) Alway enjoy golfing at Rawiga.
Took the day off to golf with my son
I took a day off to go out with my son. Our tee time was for 11:00 but the afternoon forecast wasn't looking so great, so we went early to see if we could get on. The staff was great and completely understood our desire. We made it through 15 holes before the heavens opened up and we got drenched! Hahaha, it was okay though, we had a great time!
Good weekend
The course was in good condition. Came up on some gentlemen who were playing a little slow and they let us go through. Snack shack was great.
Great value!
A great course for all skill levels, challenging enough for low handicappers but wide open enough for beginners. The greens were in the best shape I’ve seen them, and even on a Saturday pace of play was perfect.
Solid!!
It's a quiet challenge! Fast greens, various elevations make it a fun course to play. Worth the drive!
Zipped through the course
Played Rawiga and with no one in front of us played 18 holes in 2 hours and 15 minutes. This is normal for us. Greens are still mounded but otherwise had a good time. Fairways were great. Only issue was workers on mowers not paying attention to us. Course was being watered so greens were inconsistent but they were fast.
Wet, Cold & Windy w/o carts
The only thing bad was the weather and the course has no control over that. I was the only person on the course. The price you pay for paying a week ahead i guess.
Before 11A.M on a Saturday 5 some allowed
Starter/Pro shop let a 5 some out on a Saturday morning smh I made him repeat 3 times to see if he hear how asinine it sounded so we decided since only playing 9 we should just play the back I suggested to whom I played with it was better to ask for forgiveness than permission as we approached the 1 st tee we noted Nobody on 10 or coming up 9 so we proceeded to the back and played a smooth 9 holes in about 1 hr 30 mins and finished wayyyyyy before the 5 some made the turn ... Shame on the Proshop/ Starter everything else was beautiful including the course (healing nicely from being punched) was in great condition and handled recent rain well subpar customer service wouldn't detour me from recommending this course definitely a diamond in the rough
