Pine Valley Golf Club

First time playing here. Saw the reviews and wanted to check it out.

The clubhouse is small but does the job. Hotdogs and plenty of drink options inside as well. Dawn was super sweet and gave me the full rundown when I told her it was my first time here.

There was a frost delay we were told which is understandable in October in Ohio. We teed off at 10:30 at 1:30 we were on hole 8. We watched kids in sweat pants drive in reverse, duff shots and throw clubs, and sweat it out over 2 foot putts even though they were scrambling.

The twosome in front of us told us, “I’m the Wadsworth high school coach and we have 40 guys out today, first delay had us behind.”

He didn’t like when I asked if he could have his group of 40 try to pick up the pace, as we were 3 hours in on hole 8.

All in all, you can tell there’s been a lot of attention paid to bringing this course back to life. Greens rolled true though they are firm but certainly not in poor quality. Great bones. Great staff. Short layout but kept interesting and challenging with trees framing shots and forcing angles.

Dawn was very apologetic when i told her about our experience, I can’t say enough good things about her.

Will be back. But not when coach and sweatpants high school kids are out there.

Everything about the course looked great. Really nice condition. Carts with tech were nice. Greens were perfect. Highly recommend this course. I will be back for sure.

Pine Valley was a pleasure to play. As a 70 year old, I did not see what would be Senior Tees, but the white tees proved to be just fine. Great fairways, greens, and just enough sand and water to keep you honest. Staff was very pleasant, and we were not hurried in any way. Our cart could use a little more horsepower if I had to critique something. Otherwise, GREAT course and I'll be back!

This was our first time here and we highly recommend it. Staff was great, course is very nice with outstanding greens in perfect shape and very fast. We drove down from the Cleveland area and it was well worth it ! We had a great day of golf, played in 3.5 hours, and will be adding this to our several times a season list of courses.

I really like this course, although one hole with a fairway to the next with a field like fairway. Staff seemed bothered when we needed something.

I really enjoyed this course! It had it's challenges, but was very forgiving when things got tricky. Overall, the course is in great shape. The greens were immaculate and the ball rolled very nicely. The rough was cut to a reasonable length, especially around the greens. I definitely plan to play here again soon!

Side note: The only drawback to my visit was the parking lot rows/spaces are very tight. Other than, that, great course!

Great course for family play with reasonable prices

The people that own the golf course continue to improve it every year, I just wish I lived a little closer to enjoy it more often. Updated golf carts, nice greens, good fairways, fair roughs, and bonus of matching up with fun people to play with. plus I got to meet mom - nice lady!

For the price point the golfing was great, the course was in above average conditions, only complaint may be the rough was quite long and could be quite difficult to find balls that were hit only a little off of the fairway.

Really great course conditions, greens excellent. Very playable, but still a decent challenge. Would recommend it and will play again for sure.

The new owners have turned the course around and made it a great place to play golf.
