Rawiga Golf Club

This place was a hopping private club in the 80s-90s. Sad to see how much it has fallen off but still an excellent layout. I keep coming back every year for the memories. Hot Deal $26, Six-pack of 16oz beers $15! Where else are you going to get 18 playable holes and six beers for under $45? Had a couple rough patches but absolutely worth it for a Tuesday afternoon 🤝

Course was once a very nice track. But the conditions of the fairways and the green were so bad looks like they have already begun the process of closing the place rough was so bad if you were off fairway by a yard there was a 50/50 chance of finding the ball .

So sad it has gotten so bad rest in piece Rawiga you had a nice ride.

Several slow groups really backed things up. The course was very wet from recent rains and that further slowed things down. The real problem is most of the greens have a fungus or mange that makes putting impossible. Seems very little is done to improve it.Was like that last year.

Unfortunately, the course used to be really amazing but has gone downhill significantly the past year or two. Definitely would not recommend.

I feel like this place could have been fantastic. The course layout is actually pretty fun. Maybe it's just early in the year but this course one of of the least well kept courses I have ever played. Unfortunate because it has the bones for an amazing course. The grass was super high, there were dandelions everywhere on the fairways, the teeboxes and greens had more dirt areas than grass. Unfortunate.

Have played here multiple times in the past. Very disappointed with the conditions. This was to be a hidden gem. Great layout, but that is it!! Closed tee boxes, but every tee box was horrible. Greens aren’t watered. Fairways completely void of grass. Can play so many other courses for the $49 they want to charge.

Can only hope they can fix this for the future but not this year.

Course is in unbelievably bad condition due to lack of rain. Probably should just close until things improve.

This course used to be beautiful, today, I was speechless and disappointed to see the current conditions of this place. Not sure to can describe it is almost a crime to see how they let this place go.

the condition of the course is horrible, most greens have scabbing on them, so many bare spots in the fairways, what happened, this used to be a very nice track.

I play courses throughout NE Ohio and understand this years weather has taken it’s toll but it was really bad here. Fairways AND greens were in pretty bad shape and I hope the can recover, otherwise I won’t be returning.

Pace of play was horrible and all of the fairways/greens were in terrible shape. Knew we were in trouble when a league member told us at the first tee box that “it’s like putting on the moon at every hole.” Played here previous years and the conditions now are terrible compared to years past. It’s a difficult course to begin with which is normally attractive but the conditions make it almost unbearable to play. Not worth it.

This course has been sold to the Veterans Cemetery and is to be closed in the long future. Unfortunately, it seems as if they are not spending $$$ for upkeep because it is sold and $$$$ would be not recovered over time. If they do not keep up and fix the course it will close from no play and no $$$$. Never have I seen this course so bad.
