Valleywood Golf Club

It is clear that the ownership and grounds staff has no golf IQ. What little effort is put into the grounds is focused on non-golf improvements.

Full summer weekend rate being charged and there are no rakes for the traps. Maybe because there's no sand in most of them! Footprints in traps remain from last fall.

There are too many good choices around for less money. Take your cash somewhere that cares!

Course was in excellent condition, which is to be expected this early in the year. I walked the front nine, and had nobody in front of me or behind me, which was great. I do wish that the front 9 featured more than just one Par 3, and the back-to-back par 5's can be a pain, but it's a great course overall.

The course allows 5 somes. And of course they were right ahead of us with no one ahead of them for several holes. And they were so SLOW. We had to wait every shot and they ignored common courtesy to offer us to play through. We were even waiting to get on the next tee before they were even done teeing off. Called the club house and nothing was done about it. They need better policing. The folks behind us were frustrated as well and said it happens here a lot.

Had a fun round with buddies at Valleywood even tough the temps were in the mid 90's. Not many players because of the heat, 3 hr. 5 minute round.

The course was in good shape. More importantly pace of play was great. Played alone 18 holes in a little over two hours.

We were rained out after 8 holes and were refused a rain check by the staff. Hopefully Golf Now will issue a credit or a rain check to play.

Great course with a lot of terrain difficulties. The greens are fast and the course is well kept. The staff was also very professional and courteous.

Played on a Saturday as a twosome. Expected it to be slow but everyone moved right along. The course is in great condition and all staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely play again.

Decent course, just got stuck behind a group of 5 that would not let us play through , no ranger at course.
