Difficult course for beginner.
Very challenging golf course. If you can't hit Fairways regularly you won't find your balls very thick rough and very narrow Fairways but very beautiful Golf Course. Top of the line golf carts with GPS tracking and alerts letting you know when you're not where you're supposed to be.
Extremely Disappointed!!!
I recently played a round at this course, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We paid $100 for two players for 18 holes but only made it through 11 before deciding to stop.
The layout felt disjointed, with many short holes—par 4s in the 225–250 yard range, along with short par 3s and par 5s. Tee boxes were in rough condition, mostly covered with crabgrass, which gave the impression the course wasn’t well maintained. The course itself felt extremely tight, as though it was built on limited acreage.
Pace of play was another concern. We were stuck behind a foursome for 11 holes without being allowed to play through, and there was no ranger on the course to help manage this, even though staff acknowledged it was a busy day. It took 3.5 hours just to play 11 holes, which is unreasonable. The pro shop did offer us a rain check, but given the overall experience, we don’t plan to return.
In its current condition, I would not recommend this course.
Carts dfficult
Had to push our carts into the correct zones many times. When the warning sound came, reverse did not engage. A grounds keeper had to push us when he saw us struggling. We are in our 70s, play golf often, but this was more than we could manage. Not a course for seniors.
A value course
Pace of play was great. Staff was very accommodating. The course itself is okay. I feel the layout wasn't very interesting. There is water and hazards in play around a lot of greens. The tee boxes were pretty mashed up already for being early in the season, and the greens were very short and fast. The fairways, while some were okay, many had dandelions in the long rough. The carts are nice, GPS tablets mounted on them. If you are in the area and looking for a value round of golf, check this course out, but if you are looking for a pristine interesting course, this might not be the one.
Challenging course
Very challenging course in comparison to others around the Toledo area. The course may not be suitable for new golfers starting off because of its challenges. Really fun course layout, tight fairways, interesting slope and elevation, plenty of bunkers on just about every hole, lots of twists and turns for the longer holes. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Beautiful course set in river valley
Combined old 9 hole course and remainder of 18 hole course after several holes sold. As a result course has a disjointed feet. However, it is still very good. The river valley holes are quite scenic and have elevation changes.
