Good Fun
We arrived with rain looming but went out anyways. By the turn, the rain let up and we were able to finish a fun round with friends. Very friendly staff. Will be coming back
Hickory sticks at Van Wert, Ohio
Great layout, great fairways and greens and plays very well. The price is phenomenal. It is very expensive to play this go to a Course. We’ll play again.
Excellent shape!
This course is in really good shape ! Weather helps but the ground crew is doing the right thing! Fairways are even and green, greens are smooth and cut perfect! Cons: lack of porta-potties, and no beverage cart?
Food offerings may be limited to a few snacks (no dogs or brats on a Sunday afternoon? ) and no bar service?
However... the golf was great!

Great course in the area and priced fairly! Will definitely play here again. The pace of play was reasonable and didn’t have to wait much for groups in front of me.

This is a well maintained and a beautifully manicured course...great challenging dog legs ..all an all ...a great course to play and will make the trip to play there again
Unexpected finish
Well, we teed off on the 1st hole and got to the approach shot when I received a call from my wife. She knew me and my middle boy were golfing this day so I knew something was wrong. She had been struck by a truck on her way to work. So to cut it short we did not get past the 1st hole.
Well maintained course
Well kept course..Great fairways hardly any divots. Greens were rolling well. Definitely will play this course again!!
Great golf at an amazing price
This course isn’t a posh country club with a fancy clubhouse and top of the line everything. However, if you’re looking for a challenging, yet playable course with soft greens that hold iron shots and are lightning quick then this course is for you. Course was very well taken care of and the staff was very friendly. The icing on the cake was we paid through a tee time auction so it was only $23 for 18 and a cart. Definitely will be playing there again.
