The Country Club of Arkansas

Course is in relatively good shape considering the recent storms. It's a bit too tight for me with many homes on the course. Pace of play was horrendous. A foursome of elderly members that walked at a snails pace never offered to let our twosome play through and held up many others behind us. Just not a huge fan of layout in general. Rate was steep if not using golf now ($44 during the week for a senior)

Well deserved cart path only restriction after all the rain--neat how the carts remind you if you stray off the paths. Yes, the new carts with GPS are nice!

The course has very few near-level-to-level pin placements making putting a challenge. Good for some and not so good for others.

Several greens had several spots of poana? grass that did not appear to have been treated this year.

Practice facilities are good.

We were disappointed that the water stations on the course did not have fresh ice water for the golfers. A small thing, but easily remembered.

Overall, an OK outing.

This place is fantastic, has one of the best layouts in the area.

Te greens are a bit rough this time of year but they'll come around with the weather.

Everything went great except my score. The course was in real good shape, especially being March. I entered the pro shop and they welcomed me and as a single i was able to go right out. After playing a couple holes I hooked up with a another single and enjoyed a great day. The pace of play was good considering I was a single.

Great day for golf.....weather was perfect. I think there may have been only one of person out there playing. Conditions were really good!

Love this course! Not the longest but there is enough to keep the round challenging. Course retains water but you can usually avoid it. I prefer this course to other public courses in Central AR because of the value, pace of play, and layout of course.

The course is getting in pretty good condition after the winter and all the rain we had. The greens are pretty fast but still bumpy from the grass growing in. The fairways were pretty dry but not to hard and running pretty good. The club has new carts with GPS, which is a benefit in knowing distance to pins, bunkers, and other hazards. Pace of play was great, however, not many people were playing. Total time playing was approximately 90 minutes for the 18 holes. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed the course.

So irritating and having to reverse constantly. No warning until to far off of set paths

Course was a little wet from all the rain! Love the new GPS installed in the carts!

I've played this course dozens of times and always enjoyed it until they added these new GPS carts. The carts will force you to back up in extreme slow reverse if you go where they have deemed out of bounds or a "wet area" in the fairway, none of which were actually marked on the course. If they're going to restrict cart movement it needs to be clearly marked to save time.

Fun course for the price. Friday's and Weekends tend to be over booked.

I recommend this course. The course and the staff were great.

Nice course. We have had our church tournament there several different times.

I have played this course many times. As far as condition, the course is well maintained for the most part. There are a few holes with awkward designs, but playable. I would recommend the course and will certainly play there again.

This course is a must play course. I played here for the first time Sept 15th 2015 and already have plans to play it again.

Course in bad shape. Seems like they sold housing and didnt put any money back. Bumpy greens, missing tee markers, hardly any yardage markers, houses right on top of you. Really dissapointed!

No wait, pretty well maintained, some challenging holes, short course

the Country Club Of Arkansas is one of the best values as well as one of the best courses to play this summer. Both the greens and the fairways are in good shape, even with the heat. T times are available at 6:30 am which allows you to finish before it gets too hot, and the course has lots of shaded areas. See you out there.

The staff is super friendly. The course is superior to anything in town that is public. Rebsamen golf course is its only rival.They drilled and sanded the greens 2 weeks ago to get them ready for the fall. I play this course at least once a week and it is my favorite "semi-private/ public" course in the central Arkansas area.
