Great course as always
Great course little slow on a Saturday morning but was not backed up. Enjoy it and is a super nice place to play with friendly staff
Well run course
Booked on golfnow, a little pricey. They always have your cart ready for you, with scorecard. Carts clean and newer. Greens rough, but they just aerated. One hole had to drive thru creek on cart path. Will play again.
Really Nice Course
Nicest I’ve played in Arkansas so far. Greens were really good and somewhat challenging. Will play here again for sure.
Subpar course conditions
Fairways were good.
Lots of greens had burnt out sections and grass was thin. Sand traps were hard packed and hadn’t been raked.
What’s up with the greens?
It had been a while since I played this course and the greens have gone way downhill. We were hoping the practice green was just an anomaly with its fuzzy patches and overall poor condition, but as we got out on the course, things got worse. Many of the greens have what appeared to be sod patches as they look to repair them, there’s a lot of bare and diseased spots, and whoever is responsible for setting the pins leaves a lot of sand and unevenness when they plug the old holes.
Rain conditions
Due to the weather lately the course wasn’t in the best conditions. The tee boxes were good but a lot of standing water on the fairways. The greens were rough but under repair so they should improve over time. Would like to try them again later to see if everything has improved
The Bugs are HORRIBLE
Love everything about this course the gnats and flys will eat you alive and swarm you in groves!!!!
Excellent Course
Very difficult (for me). Course management is a must because of the layout; shorter course yardage wise but they make up for it with thoughtful complexity. You can't bomb every hole and expect it to work out with the hazards. Water is more of an issue than the bunkers, and trees aren't really an issue unless you are a fair bit off the fairway.
Biggest drawback, avoid this course if it is actively raining or has rained heavily that week. Very likely to flood.
Overpriced unfriendliness
We played this course Sat and Sun and both days we were caught up in tournaments. We were told to go off on #10 this morning only to find carts stacked up and they’d been told the same. We had an 8:06 tee time and the young man working the counter showed up to open the pro shop at about 7:50. He was in a rush and came off as pressured to do his job, which didn’t surprise me as our game Sat I encountered an older gentleman and woman working the counter that had smug attitudes too. The greens are fair condition with a couple in rough condition. Fairways and tee boxes were a bit soggy, but this course has had a drainage issue for awhile. Locally you’ll find Cypress Creek, Greystone and Eagle Hill in far better shape for the same money and you’ll find their staff much more friendly. Honestly it’s a good course but I’ve never found the smugness of the Jenkins crew worth the extra coin. Pro shop items are extremely expensive so don’t forget anything. A hat and bucket of range balls cost me $51.
Lovely course
Enjoyed the people and the location. Recommend this course to everyone for a midrange midweek round
Great value
Great for the money. Nice facility and staff. Course in good shape. Challenging greens but small
