The Country Club of Arkansas

It was my second and third times playing at Country Club of Arkansas and it is safe to say that I loved it. The course itself is beautiful and the maintenance team/greens keepers do an amazing job making this course seemingly even more beautiful with every play through. The hazards are placed in challenging locations that make you think twice about which club you are going to use. The greens were in GREAT shape and tended to be a little fast for what I’m used to but by the end of my 36 holes this course made me more confident in my putting skills and abilities. The staff was very friendly. The gentleman in the office and the lady working the grill were very helpful, polite, and professional. I will most definitely be returning to this course.

This course was tough, but it was in great shape. Would definitely play there again!!!

This was the first game of golf my friends and I had ever played. The club was nice, the course fun. The staff was extremely accommodating to us, even allowing us to go back and take our time on holes 1-9 since they had no tee times scheduled after we got done with our first round of 1-9. The clientele was also very friendly and understanding, giving us tips and tricks as we let them play ahead of us so we didn’t hold them up. Except for one couple who was so rude that I feel I have to mention them here, accusing us of holding up “a line of people” despite the fact that no one appeared behind us for 30 minutes after they passed us. The course was nice, fun for first timers. There was quite a bit of goose excrement on a number of courses, but how do you really deal with that? Not a real big deal. We thought it was great value. Enjoyed it and will be back (hopefully much better when we do return).

Good layout. Course is a bit short, but does require you to be accurate on your tee shots.

Greens were a bit slow but rolled smooth

The course was wet due to all the rains we have had, so it was cart path only with the cart. However, the course seemed to be in good shape. The staff was really friendly and I wondered if the course had gone under new management. The carts have GPS which is a huge assist if you do not know the course. I did not know they had a scramble going on and caught them on the 11th hole. The four man teams were pretty nice and allowed me to play through which I thought was really outstanding. The greens were a little rough and slow, but I contributed this to them recently being aeriated. Al in all I enjoyed my round and would return to play another round there.

Fair and challenging. Intermediate golfers will thrive on this course!

CC of Arkansas is a fun course with many interesting holes. Not overly challenging for mid-handicappers. If in the area, it’s a must play.
