Oregon City Golf Club
About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

A bad day on the course trumps any good day at work. Photo submitted by u268790960 on 03/23/2022

terrible
The course was in decent shape.not a bad experience on the course. My problem with this golf course was the staff. Clubhouse staf was rude to me and talked to me like I was beneath them! Extremely disrespectful and was charged wrong. I will NEVER go back to this golf course!
this course has great features
i like this course very much. if i play it more then i might be better at this course. it can get busy from time to time. most of the time people are kind enogh to let you play through if needed.
Very nice !!!
Very nice short course, required attention on every shot, course management is a must to get around a decent round on this course. The greens are smaller but will hold and reward the quality shot into the greens.
Good value. Overall good condition.
Greens were a little slow and not holding short iron shots. Pace of play was very good.
Challenging!
Very beautiful course! It's a shorter course but challenging. Lots of trees and blind tee shots. I'd play there again and again!!!
Fun to play
The greens were very slow when we played. Otherwise, the course was in good shape. This is not a long course, but there are a lot of trees to negotiate.
cannt remember ever putting on slower greens
the layout is quirky. i mean, i like a dogleg hole, but a horseshoe hole? gimme a break.
Good, fun course.
Great course to get out with your buddies, not super challenging. Flat fairways, big greens. Had a great time!
Good pace of play
Greens were really bumpy. Ended up missing several putts that were right on line then hit a bump.
The course was a great value if you want to play all day.
A friend and I have played here twice in the last few weeks. The course is pretty dry compared to most around. The greens were very bumpy from footprints. Their Hot Deal is too good to pass up. Play all you want for less than $20. We played 27 holes the first time and 36 this time around. There are hardly any people to be seen most of the day.
Dry course for wet weather play
OCGC is a flat track easily walked. Price for 18 holes is relatively inexpensive and it's pretty easy to get a tee time or walk on. I've played it twice in mid-winter and will continue to play it on those rare rainless days because it is the least soggy, firmest course I know of in the area. Not a single lost ball due to plugging in muddy ground.
This is a decently tended track but not close to a gorgeous, lush resort-type layout. Don't expect a restaurant or fancy clubhouse. Hot dogs and cold beer.
A really enjoyable course to spend a sunny afternoon on with friends.
I thought the course was in good shape however the greens were a sogfest, perhaps due to the recent weather conditions.
I played this course when it wasn't that busy, It made it really nice.
The course has some great dog legs for the advanced golfers who know how to control there golf ball, nice tree lined fairways. It was also nice to see some wildlife, very peaceful.
Average course with some challenges
Winter is tough in the NW with all the rain. Greens tended to be slow but not soggy wet. Approaches are really wet and you are easy to plug your ball. Fairways have some spots of standing water
short but technical course
for the time of year the course fairways played firm the greens where slow and soft
The course has great features
It was wet in a few places on the day I played, but otherwise was great.
Nothing to write home about
Some of the greens were in terrible condition. The course is fairly short and allows a lot of opportunities for birdies and eagles. There are a few tough dog legs on the course that do not allow you to cut corners. However they do not exceed 400 yards so it is an easy play with a layup. Definitely a good course to walk with minimal hills.
