About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

Good course for the price
Played Oregon City Golf Course over Labor Day weekend. It is a good course for the price point. The biggest issue I have with the course is how soggy the greens are at times. It did rain a bit during the round, but there hasn't been much rain in Oregon over the last 4 months, and my feet were leaving imprints on some greens.
Overall, the course has a good blend of holes with different difficulties and the course itself was good besides the greens. The course is a good course to walk and carry clubs as well, there weren't many hills or elevation changes. I do recommend checking out the golf course.

Worst encounter with the owner!
I had the most unprofessional encounter with the owner! I have play at the course at least 12-13 times. I have a Finn Bike and have never been charge a trail fee. With that said, the last time I play the employee told me that I need to pay a one time trail fee ok no worries 15 dollars is not going to break me. That this charge would be put on my profile and never had to pay the trail fee ever again. It was a one time fee. I then played the next Wednesday. The owner came up to me a said nice ride. I said thank you. He then ask me if I was charged a trail fee. I said, that the last time I came in. The kid in side said that it was a one time changer. He then argued with me in front of other customer golfers. That, that was not true. He walked away from me demanding me to follow him still verbally being loud. In side. I saw his employee and I was right. This owner has to be one of the rudest people I have encountered. I payed the trail fee no big deal. I play all over OR. Some places let me use my Finn Bike. Some places don’t witch is not a problem. Some places charge me and others don’t. Because it frees up one of their carts to rent out. I think he was absolutely rude, and his customer service was unprofessional. I was very well respected and was a paying customer. Never will play there again.!

Summer fairways
Greens and tee boxes in good shape but fairways are burnt. Normal summer play.

Perfect
Great place to golf as usual. There is some fungus on some greens but in general they are in great condition, a bit slow due to watering. This is a place to bring that out of town friend to impress and display Oregon at it’s best!

Glacially slow
A Marshal was needed. We bailed after 2.5 hours playing front 9.

Fairway conditions
Greens in great shape but fairways were burnt with patches of grass. Tee boxes in good shape.

too hot to play

Summer is upon us.
Even though it was a hot day of golf, it was great. A few greens have some tired fungus death spots but in general in greater shape than you would imagine for a course that is so popular.
