About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

What a great day for golf.
A cold morning gave way to a warm midday. Leaves picked up or blown off greens, fairways were forgiving and dry for November! Climate change is happening!

Climate change and PNW golf
Started out frosty and ended warm. Course is in good condition for this time of year, not many players venturing out to test the elements so made for a very quick 18!

Great course and friendly staff
I recently purchased some new irons and wanted to put them in some action so I booked a round Saturday morning at 8am thanks to a sweet deal on Golf Now. The weather was cold and wet AND the sun JUST came up so no one was out. Staff was super friendly, Course drainage was awesome for how much rain we had received leading up to the round. Only complaint was there was a lot of debris from the wind around some of the greens but again we were like the first people on the course and the maintenance crew was out there working hard with their pup! Would 10/10 play here again.

Oregon city golf club
Not a bad course, not much variety but a few hard dog legs, friendly staff, round moved right along.

October golf?
Great golf course! Newly sanded and aerated greens made putting a challenge but will keep it playable for the rain and beyond. Lots more golf to play here this year.

not my best golf experience
We were to some going at the pace of the people in front of us had to wait at the tee for the group in front of us to finish. Which was just fine everyone plays at their own speed. But the group behind us decided to hit balls at us. Some people just can't see past the group ahead of them to realize that other people are playing and we can only go as fast as the people in front of us. On the turn the Marshall gave me a hard time saying that we only paid for nine holes when we paid for 18 through the golf now app. He then said one too lazy to check but I don't want to have to come out and bust you later. So I rechecked the app to make sure and we did have 18 but was not happy with the added stress as he kept creeping around us for the next few holes. Other than that the course was fun and other staff was friendly just not the Marshall.

Beating the heat golf
Pre 8 AM tee times are the best in the heat! Quite and not crowded yet so you can play at your own pace and finish before the heat of the day. They have some bad fungus spreading on a few greens but I am confident they will get that under control. Would love to see the hump on a couple well worn tee boxes addressed in the future. Great golf!
