About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

Perfect weather and conditions
They do a great job to maintain the fairways and greens. It was slow play on the front but the slower people left at the turn and it was paradise on the back nine. This is a place you must play when in Portland, old layout with all the challenges you could want.

Oregon city Course
Wow, very nice course. First time out there, didn’t know what to expect. Shot a pretty decent round, and played with some awesome guys. I will be back!!!

Great golf

A different kind of course
1st time at course. Surprised at tightness of some of the fairways. If you missed the fairway you were in the trees, many times with no direct shot at the green. The greens were a little rough and very slow. The course makes you plan your shots rather than just grip and rip. Had fun.

Beautiful day
Got paired with a couple of nice people. Finished in 4 hours. Course in good shape but greens are slow. Not Rose city slow, but close. All in all a fine day in the sun. A beverage cart would have made it better.

Spring is here
The fairways are in great condition and the greens need some rolling to remove the numerous pumps that throw off putts. Great place for a walk and some golf.

Warming up
First warm day of the year and the course is looking great. The fairway grass is coming in well, it was nicely mowed and the greens were in good shape but still wet and slow.
When the rain slows down, this place will shine. Pace of play moved alon, finishing in less that 4 hours easily.

Spring is coming
This is one of my favorite courses!, it’s usually in great shape from tee to green. This day the greens seemed fast and faster as the day progressed. As the year progresses, I will plan to play a lot more golf here. Also the staff is great!
