Par 3/4 fun
Long par 3's and short par 4's makes for a fun outing. Still, too much goose goo here and there, but what are ya gonna do-do?
The best course in the Portland area for older golfers.
The course is in very good condition. The practice areas are quite good. The holes are short, but they do test your skills. This is the best course in the Portland area for older golfers.
Pleasant day
Played the red and green (9 hole) courses. The red course seemed easier; fewer sand traps and water hazards.
No par 5's on this course. If I recall correctly only 1 hole over 300 yards.
The course is fairly level, and it's well-maintained. Played in a foursome with others in front of us who were a little slow at times, but it moved along OK overall. Keep in mind the course is situated within a retirement community-there were plenty of golfers out and it was mid-week. I would play there again.
Wonderful experience.
Well maintained, easy to walk, wonderful trees (yes, I hit a few), water too. Plenty of challenges.
fun course
Great condition. For an executive course it has it's challenges with sand traps and water.
Fun executive course.
Great place to walk and work on your short game. Not crowded at all.
Fun course.
We had a great time. This is an executive course, no par 5 s, but it has some really good par 3 s. Course was in great shape. Will play here again.
Great short course.
This is a great course to play for practice in the summer but I have been there in the FAll and Spring and it is soggy and the greens aren't well maintained mostly because it is so wet. It has par 3 holes and short par 4s which for me, an intermediate player, makes a cheap course to practice especially if you get a hot deal on golfnow. It has a driving range and lots of trees but has houses all around. A good course to walk for exercise and short hole practice.
Great par 62 executive course!
Great little executive, par 62 course. Winds through beautiful, development with mature, large trees lining the fairways. It's 27 hole layout which they rotate so that those who just want to play 9 can do so without getting the 18 holers out of position. The greens are terrific and there are some challenging carries over water. Couple this with the availability of some GolfNow deals and this is a can't miss experience.
Great course to practice short game.
Nice course to practice short game. Par 4s are short, but you have to hit it straight and have a good 2nd shot from inside 100. Par 3s can be challenging. Bunkers are surprisingly well maintained. Very good value for the money. I'll be back.
While we are young
Good course to work on your short game but able to incorporate long game
Great value, fun course!
We had a lot of fun playing this executive course, which was still very challenging. The deal we got made the value great!
great staff, tricky greens
Fun Course, the greens can be tricky. Semi-open and pretty short. Played green/yellow
Fun for me, great for my wife
We enjoy playing this course. Some of the par 3's are a little long for the men and a few holes should have the tees moved up for the women, however overall it's a fun course to play. It is also maintained well, and the green speeds just fast enough.
Great for a round with the wife
The "executive course" distance is well suited for my wife's 150 yd drives. For the several relatively short par 4s, going for the green off the tee makes it fun for me. Good iron practice as there is a good amount of sand and water.
Played 18 on Sunday afternoon as a two-some in 3:15 with no waiting on the tees.
Well maintained and beautiful surroundings. No really long holes, but great for working your smaller woods.
We arrived with at tee time in 45 minutes and found that my daughter at PSU wanted to come and join us. Her car wouldn't start and she was in tears. We were told not to worry and go get her and they would get us on the course when she got there. They gave her a couple new balls for her trouble and we were sent out within 15 minutes. It was busy and play was fairly slow, but super enjoyable. We will definitely return.
nuce course, some long par 3's, water sand, very nice executive course
i would play the course again.Houses dont come into play as bad as one might think,Greens were good, alot different than th practice green though.
Nice set up
Course in great condition. Could use a Players Assisstant (Marshall)
Great value from Golf Now. Frienly staff. This course could use a Marshall to keep groups moving at a good pace. Followed two groups of two each which slowed things considerably. The group we were following never offered to let us play through as it appeared that a father was instructing his son during their round which had groups backed up on several tees. I think that if a foursome is consitantly on the heals of a twosome they would, at some point, understand that their play is slower than normal.
great practice course
Interesting use of design especially with the water placement. Control and placement are much more important than power on this course. there was a group of old men that took forever, but since no one was behind us we played a practice ball each hole so it worked out well.
This is a great course for your mid- and short-game. It was in great condition.
Fun course to play. Good for a novice. Quick play. Just enough water to make it a little challenging.
