Great course to practice irons!
They have some great par 3’s that will really help you to work on your iron play. The par 4’s are short but it’s well maintained and fairly flat so you can walk and get some exercise.
Golf Now What??
We showed up to an 18 hole course about to be played by some dudes that haven’t played in 5-10 years, under the impression that we’d be by our selves, you know, because it didn’t dictate otherwise. Well, we were paired with an uneven match. Just saying, it should let you know that is going to be the case.
Fun course
Long par 3 s and short 4 s make its fun. Used all my clubs in my bag which does not happen every time you play a longer course.
A pleasant golf day
Charbonneau is a neat, short, well kept course, nestled inside a senior housing estate with very nice homes and pleasant people round about. It is well laid out with a variety of challenges on each hole, but none too difficult for any experienced player, except the par threes are often a bit long for the novice golfer to make the green in one. Overall it is challenging but enjoyable, where I (who averages around 100 but typically closer to 90 here), have played some very low scores, despite the reduced round par totals.
Excellent Short Course(s)
Charbonneau's 27 hole course has an excellent layout for each of the nine hole courses (Red, Yellow & Green courses) and is lady friendly, yet challenges one's short game. The three courses are rearranged every day that allows for an 18 hole game and a nine hole short game. Better still, the price is spot on!
Nice Executive Course
The course is mostly Par 3 with some par 4. Courses slow a lot of retirees play the course. But it is an amazing condition especially the greens. Took my 14 year old son perfect course for younger kids.
Perfect day
Our foursome had a great day. No waiting and no groups pushing. Greens were fast and course well groomed. The weather was perfect and all the homes added to the day with their beautiful landscaping.
Lovely executive course
I've played here many times. It's a course with 3 nines, each about 2000 yards from the white tees. Just right for a short-hitter and sometimes erratic player like me. Extremely well-maintained. The practice areas are temporarily in a state of flux because they're being renovated, but should be done soon. Took me just under 3 hrs to play 18 alone, but 3:30 to 4:00 is more common. Easy access to the course from I-5.
Great late afternoon round
I had the pleasure of playing Yellow / Green at Charbonneau Golf Club on Thursday, May 17 at 3:30 pm. I can’t say why, but I was almost the only one on the course. I played as a single and it took under 2 1/2 hours to play 18. Course condition was good; fairways well kept, rough long and somewhat thin, traps in need of some additional sand. The greens looked good, were hard and not too receptive, and were a little long and bumpy.
This was just what I was looking for; a chance to work on some shots without the typical distractions.
Venerable course
I've played here many times, always on a free pass from the golf show or a Hot Deal from Golf Now. It's a very pretty, well-maintained course (actually three nines) in a retirement community. For a quality golfer, it's probably too short and easy. From the white tees, the nines are 1900-2500 yards. Perfect for me, even though I always shoot way over par (62 per 18).
Nice well maintained executive corse
Par 3’s and 4’s. Not a huge challenging corse but if your looking for a day out hitting the ball this place is nice
