While we are young
Good course to work on your short game but able to incorporate long game
Great value, fun course!
We had a lot of fun playing this executive course, which was still very challenging. The deal we got made the value great!
great staff, tricky greens
Fun Course, the greens can be tricky. Semi-open and pretty short. Played green/yellow
Fun for me, great for my wife
We enjoy playing this course. Some of the par 3's are a little long for the men and a few holes should have the tees moved up for the women, however overall it's a fun course to play. It is also maintained well, and the green speeds just fast enough.
Great for a round with the wife
The "executive course" distance is well suited for my wife's 150 yd drives. For the several relatively short par 4s, going for the green off the tee makes it fun for me. Good iron practice as there is a good amount of sand and water.
Played 18 on Sunday afternoon as a two-some in 3:15 with no waiting on the tees.
Well maintained and beautiful surroundings. No really long holes, but great for working your smaller woods.
We arrived with at tee time in 45 minutes and found that my daughter at PSU wanted to come and join us. Her car wouldn't start and she was in tears. We were told not to worry and go get her and they would get us on the course when she got there. They gave her a couple new balls for her trouble and we were sent out within 15 minutes. It was busy and play was fairly slow, but super enjoyable. We will definitely return.
nuce course, some long par 3's, water sand, very nice executive course
i would play the course again.Houses dont come into play as bad as one might think,Greens were good, alot different than th practice green though.
Nice set up
Course in great condition. Could use a Players Assisstant (Marshall)
Great value from Golf Now. Frienly staff. This course could use a Marshall to keep groups moving at a good pace. Followed two groups of two each which slowed things considerably. The group we were following never offered to let us play through as it appeared that a father was instructing his son during their round which had groups backed up on several tees. I think that if a foursome is consitantly on the heals of a twosome they would, at some point, understand that their play is slower than normal.
great practice course
Interesting use of design especially with the water placement. Control and placement are much more important than power on this course. there was a group of old men that took forever, but since no one was behind us we played a practice ball each hole so it worked out well.
This is a great course for your mid- and short-game. It was in great condition.
Fun course to play. Good for a novice. Quick play. Just enough water to make it a little challenging.
Good executive course for the money.
It's well worth the trip if you can get a deal on this course. The setting is nice and it's not a busy course which is very nice as well.
short but sweet
leave the driver at home but if you'd like to work on your iron play, this is a nice place to play. greens (except second nine i played which we.re sanded) were very nice. general course condition very good. play was a little on the slow side for a shortish course.
Interesting combination of short and long
The par 4's were some of the shortest I've ever played (either driveable or a drive a chip) and the par 3's were some of the longest requiring solid long iron play. Great course to work on different facets of your game.
We walked 18 and couldn't have asked for a more leisurely course to do so. Very flat and tucked into a very clean community with beautiful homes on every fairway.
The staff was very friendly, but the welcoming atmosphere of the course's regular folders was what made it stand out.
We plan on returning to this course that's just a quick trip from downtown.
Par 3 & 4 - reasonbly dry for the time of year
Overall a great experience - the course was moderately busy but the pace was great. For the time of year the ground was in good condition. This time of year in this area there is a lot of "mush" and there were only a very few soft areas. I'd rate it above average for the area this time of year. It's a relatively easy course since it's pretty flat and it's just par 3s and 4s but there is a fair amount of sand and several areas to shoot over water. It's a great choice for those of us who don't regularly drive the ball 300+ yards and just want I nice place to play.
Short Par 3's and 4's
This course, for mid February, was well maintained and fun to play. It is not very challenging, but good for a brisk day in Feb.
we like this course. It is short and always great greens
medium hitters and up can leave the driver and three wood in the trunk. The bunkering is good and greens great. It is short and fairly tight to homes all around. bring bread to feed the birds and squirrels.
Beautiful, short course
Have played here about 8 times now, always on a free pass from the golf show, a coupon, or online deal. The staff is always friendly. There is a driving range and a putting area. There are 3 9-hole courses; when you arrive, they tell you which one(s) you will be playing. Most of the fairways are pretty narrow. Each nine runs about 2000 yards from white tees. It's situated in a retirement community, so many of the customers are residents. There are a few holes with water, and some long, deep sand traps.
Price was right.
Greens were very good. Though it has been wet lately and fairways were soft, it was playable.
Good value, good shape
there are only par 3 and 4, but sometimes the tree line makes the course tight.... if you use appropriate course management, this course if fairly easy, if you try to use driver when you shouldn't, you will be playing out of the trees and it will be bogey or double bogey golf.... greens are in nice shape and it has some long par 3's
Good course to practice short game.
Soft fairway due to rain. Still playable, greens are now slower.
