Terra Greens Golf Course

I played this course for the second time a few days ago. It was in better condition than the first time. For a course with no bunkers it is not without it's challenges. the rolling hills and slopes off some of the greens offer plenty of challenge if you miss the green. Hole 1 a well placed tree and small water hazard protect this hole . A typical par 5 for hole 2 with a sloping fairway and a large rock in the fairway. An uphill par 4 for the third a narrow to average fairway to an elevated green. No4 a par 5 starts off with an elevated tee box but you cannot see the green as a rolling fairway that slopes slightly left to right with a cresting hill in the middle long hitters will benefit here as putting a ball on the down slope of the fairway will create a generous roll and set up a beautiful second shot down hill to the green and an eagle opportunity. Hole 5 a straight forward short par 3. it's shortness is the challenge as it is right in the middle of clubs for most so adding a little swing or taking some off will be key here. A sneaky pond on hole six requires a bit of restraint if you are a long hitter as the approach is narrow and only a accurate long shot will benefit the player. The pond cannot be seen from the tee box but beware it is most certainly there I know. An easy swing with the driver or 3 wood will set up a nice approach shot. The par 3 7th is up hill plays slightly longer than the yardage indicated but if miss this green to the left down the hill you. Your shot here should be to the right of the flag to allow for the ball to move toward the hole. The hard dog leg right 8th is my favorite hole here. The large tree is you target here however the brave can try to cut the corner and make the green in one shot setting up another eagle or birdie chance. No 9 is a straight par 4 with the same small water hazard as no 1 however a slicer will end up in the No1 fairway very easily and the carts coming towards s you might make some a little anxious at the tee box. All in all this is a great little course that will challenge some and be easy for others but strategy will be in play on all holes. Try it out I don't think you'll be disappointed

Play here almost every Friday night all thru summer . Always in great shape . Cart paths could use some love but there aren't many courses that couldn't . Will continue to support this little 9 hole course .

Very enjoyable round and great value. Layout has lots of elevation changes, the course conditions were very good and the greens were a little slow (but in great shape). Would definitely recommend to a friend.

A local nine hole track that could have potential if maintained a bit better. I can't recommend that this is near worth the trip. If you live around the corner go for it but otherwise forget it!

Course is close to home. Great course to practice. Fast pace of play. Course needs some attention but a nice place to play for a quick round. Greens are slow but challenging breaks.

It's an ok course for a quick round or practice.

The MAJOR issue is the poor attitude of the course staff towards pre-paid customers, especially those that are visitors to the area. This is surprising since it's located in the Poconos.

If anyone in the municipality looks at this review, please educate your employees to treat all customers the same way.

Full size 9 hole course played twice, in good shape (played here 2 years ago and was not near in the shape it was on 9/14/13 ) the greens were outstanding full, ball rolled good and cut at a good height. Would play here again.

Hadn't played at this course in over 15 years. It was in excellent shape. I found the putting challenging. You had to read the greens really well since many slopes. Always enjoyed the challenge of the 8th hole. Blindly hitting to the flag from below the hole.

A nine hole course you play twice for 18. Excellent value, course in nice shape will play again.

Handsome 9 hole tract. Good for beginners. Just for astetic reasons though, we would like to have seen a sand trap or two. We paid rediculous low $ for our round and had no complaints. We will return, If the price is right.

Well maintained. Fairways cut nicely. Can be soggy in spots after heavy rain. No brown spots.

This nine hole course provides a nice mix of scenic golf holes. The greens were in good shape and offered challenging hole placements. Pace of play can become an issue if the course is busy. I will go back and play this course again when I have a chance to sneak out during the week.

Challenging course. Number 8 is unbelievable. Greens are more challenging then most courses.

greens were a little slow, but it was wide open . can't beat the price 12 dollars for 18 holes with a cart.

Terra Greens is a great 9 hole course. It's a hilly course to test both your accuracy on your drives as well as your short game. the greens were in great shape. Great deal for the price.
