I Recommend This Course
Small Local Hidden Gem
The course is now known as The Highlands at North Fork. The new owners have worked hard to bring the lower 9 back to a nice playable conditions. 3 weeks ago they were working on the greens w aeration and other treatments, and they have massively improved! I saw new signage and ball cleaners that I did not notice 3 weeks prior, they clearly add back to the course! Don't expect a 5 star resort feel but instead come enjoy small town, local, welcoming golf. The bartender is a nice guy and I always meet nice people on the course. However they seem to allow 6somes of new golfers to play at the end of the day which can destroy the pace.
Holes 8 and 9 are nice and unique!
