About
Split Rock Resort & Golf Club is nestled in the western region of the Pocono Mountains along the banks of Lake Harmony. The club has 27 holes of championship golf as well as an 18-hole miniature golf course for the kids. Split Rock's North Course is an 18-hole layout that is supplemented by the South nine, which can be combined with either the front or back nine of the North. Stretching to 7,150 yards from the tips, the North Course offers plenty of room with several holes that will appeal to long hitters. Mature trees line the fairways and strategically placed bunkers surround the greens on every hole. Water hazards make an appearance on only four holes but they are memorable ones, especially par-5 fifth where golfers have to contend with not one but two lakes.

Challenging, but fun course
Split Rock Golf Course is a challenging, but fun course to play. The course was in pretty good condition. A green or two needed some recovery, but the rest were nice. Course cuts through the woods in the Poconos and is very spread out, whereas you really don't cross paths with many people throughout your round.
Staff was very friendly. Food and drink prices are very reasonable.
Played 6/3/22. Heavy rain the day before made it cart path only. Bunkers filled with water and numerous puddles. Rough was overly thick and greens soft and slow. Slow play at beginning, but called the pro shop to report it and they sent a ranger out to move things along, which helped. Felt they could have moved tee markers up to front of box to compensate for wet fairways and zero roll.
Beautiful and fun course, but...
The green is close to the grass.
The green is not well maintained for the high price.
Even if I hit the putt hard, I can't even get close to the hole cup.
This is the first green like this.
Challenging layout
Almost every hole is a dog leg so first time out it can mess with you. Greens were crazy slow would have preferred them a little faster. Hate to hit putts to get them to the hole. Would rate the course higher if the greens were a bit faster.
Course in shape despite weather
This course was in great shape despite the recent very wet, rain and snow,weather. We showed up early to take advantage of the driving range. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Tight course
Tight course, GPS with overhead distance layout a must, easy to overdrive fairways on many holes and deceiving to where you should hit the ball too if you have not played hear before.
Great challenging course
Amazing. Only drawback was bunkers were damaged from recent storm. Great time

Nice layout, tee boxes worse I have seen all year. For the price they charge coarse should be in better shape! Good news was fast play cause nobody was there. My guess is the price.
