Good for Beginner and Intermedtiate
My wife and I have been playing this course this summer. The course is not a difficult course as the fairways are open and for the Pocono Mountains is a relatively flat course (with exception to a few holes). It is a 9 hole course and is relatively short. My wife is a beginner golfer so this course has really helped her work on her form and mechanics while not having to worry about the layout too much. We primarily play on the weekends so I would expect with the beautiful weather we have had lately, we have seen the busiest crowds. They're not too bad with good pace and hardly any waiting. I would rate the conditions as average with greens a little inconsistent and fairways show some dirt in spots. The sand traps are in need of new sand. The staff is very friendly and we have never experienced any issues with anyone. Most challenging thing about Indian Mountain Golf Course is there is no real clubhouse. Pretty much a single room dwelling where you can buy a snack, sit down and chat with the associate(s). Like I said, this is a great place to learn the game for there is a lot of forgiveness to the layout.
