Fort Cherry Golf Club

I feel that the course was in good condition for how dry it has been. They had a lot of sprinklers running throughout our round Sunday morning. We did have to play “dodge the sprinkler” a few times, but with the dry weather this was a welcomed sight.

Our tee time was 6:24 and we were done at 10:10am.

Overall I feel that our experience was great and would gladly go back.

Course was in terrible shape for the $70 price. Go to quicksilver a few minutes down the road. The greens were destroyed and borderline unplayable. Bunkers had wasp nests in them. Halfway house was serving uncooked hot dogs. Carts weren’t charged. The money that you pay for this is robbery.

Enjoyed our round at FC. Challenging but fair for women.

Too many blind tee shots. Had to drive up the fairway.before teeing off so as to not hit into the group ahead.

Took our foursome 5 hours to get through 18. We had to wait on every hole from 3-18. They need to space the tee times out more than 8 minutes. No hot dogs were available at the turn as “they had just sold the last one”. The snack shack was also closed. This was on a Saturday and the place was packed. If you’re going to charge premium money it’s gotta be a premium experience.

Greens were super fast. It’s a little tight at times but the conditions were fantastic! Certainly recommend it!

I’ve been playing this course for years for $62 and as much play you would think the greens and traps would be at least average or above. The greens are hard as a rock I really don’t think they’re ever watered and most of the traps are bare or the sand is so old it might as well be concrete also infested with ground bees

Course overall isn’t that great. For what you’re paying in comparison to other courses in the area it’s too much money. Plus you’re required to pre-pay if you schedule online. The tee boxes were average, holes are right on top of each other so hitting someone is very probable unless you’re very skilled, and the transition from fairway to rough is immediate and bad. I have no desire to play here again.

New golf Director has NO Idea how to treat senior golfers . Parking is a TOTAL Mess . No Bag Drop . Expect golfer to carry bags for hundreds of yards .. People in the pro shop have no idea how to make credit card charges . Lack of communications for groups that have been playing there for years . Sad One more Bad experience they will never see me again . I will make sure NONE of my friends and fellow golfers will spend money at this place .

Course is in decent shape. The greens are in need of some maintenance but true and speedy! The check in guy was rather gruff but ok. $49 for 18 in late spring is a bit more than I would like to pay! However the biggest turnoff for me is the pace of play. No ranger to speed up slow play is so not fun! Mentioned it to the starter and he just shrugged 🤷‍♂️ his shoulders and said it wasn’t his job.

Otherwise I had a good time

we try to play here once a month. we greatly enjoy the conditions and pace of play. If you haven't played here yet you are missing out on a very good golf course.
