Slow Play
It took nearly 3 hours to complete the front nine! We gave up & left. Pro shop was notified of players not keeping pace and hitting multiple balls.
Great course
Course is great. Pace a tad slow but not terrible.
Labor Day review
Greens and fairways were in very good condition. Several tee boxes were in rough shape and the par 3s were out of sand for repairing divots. Lack of rain caused the rough to be dried out.
Quicksilver is a great course
The course is in great shape, greens are fair but fast on some holes, rough and sand was well maintained, no garbage on the course. Pace of play could have been better but it’s a very popular public track
Quicksilver Recommended!
Booked on Golfnow, paired up with 2 really nice guys. The course was in good shape especially considering the dry conditions. Staff was helpful explaining the putting, chipping and driving range areas. Uploaded picture of par 3 8th hole, really nice.
Wonderful experience
Beautiful golf course and clubhouse. Very friendly and helpful staff. For my first time there they made me feel welcomed. Very well organize which helps keep the pace of play flowing. Don the starter even gave us some pointers in regards to some of the holes including blind spots and hidden hazards before we started. Very nice greens, a little fast but very true.
Beautiful course but difficult
A bit long on some hikes for ladies and definitely fast greens. Overall good experience.
Course lives up to it's name
Same as the title. Fast greens with tough lies. Well maintained.
Nice greens!! Long!!
Front nine tight. Starter was RUDE bioth days we played. Same guy. Needs to be a little friendlier!!!
Beautiful Layout
This was my first time playing the course. I usually play the Oglebay courses in Wheeling since I live right above there. But with the recent flooding I struck out to explore a new course. The lay out is well done. A couple of “blind holes” but after playing it once you figure out where to place your drive. The only negative I have of the course is that when they laid out the greens the designer went with the lay of the land and did not flatten them in area for proper pin placements. So you found yourself with a lot of squirrelly putts unless you were putting uphill. Aside from that the layout was fine. I paid $65 for 18 with a cart. It was worth it. I will go back.
