Greens need to be better. 2 were temporaryas they lost one and the other was fine and not used for some reason. Layout had a lot of repetition. Fairways are down low an a lot of elevated greens. Would go back for a scramble and to introduce it to another to see their impressions.
Poor conditions...skip this course in 2015
Horrible temporary green on 11, and #3 might as well be. Can't believe they are still trying to charge full rates with the course in the shape it is in. To make matters worse, the back nine was backed up three holes deep with slow mixed foursomes, and no ranger in sight.
Course Conditions / Other Comments
Winter took a toll on the greens. Staff is doing a good job repairing them. League days are Tuesday and pin placement is equivalent to the U.S. Open. Overall one of my favorite local courses to go to.
Overchage, Not a bad course
They overcharged me in the amount of $18 however the course was fairly nice. Some greens could have been in better condition but its a decent public course that has a fairly challenging layout.
Good course for the money
A few of the greens were a looking a little rough but you can noticeably tell they were actively repairing the greens. The course is overall short but can be challenging, there's many fairways that border the creek and dense woods. For the price I would highly recommend it.

This was a nice course for the money on Golf Now. I would not want to pay the full price for this course. It would have been very disappointing.
I will go back if I can find a good price. This is a short course under 6000 yards.
Great up and down course.
Short course but if you want to score you have to think on most holes. Plans are necessary. Would love to live closer. I'm moving to PA and will play this short, difficult course more.
I've Played at Better Courses
The staff and clubhouse were exceptional. Pro shop had great products and very helpful staff members. Now I understand that weather can have an impact on your course conditions and greens, but for the cost of greens and cart fees the conditions of the greens were really ugly and unplayable. Hard to make a read on greens that have nothing but patches of grass and green sand everywhere. I'm not going back to crossgates unless I get a really hot deal or the greens are fixed whichever comes first.
A little short
Nice course! A little short for my taste. Greens were in horrible shape due to the winter ice and snow. 18 is a great finishing hole!
Great Little Course
The course was in great shape. They sent me off the back and it was smooth sailing until I hit the turn then a lot of walkers and slow play. The greens were in super shape and fairways were in good shape. Finaly birded number 4 3 wood 9 iron PW made a 8 foot putt.
Nice layout
paired up with 3 fun players and enjoyed a sunny day with perfect weather. Great day from the pro shop and through the course. Course is in excellent condition as usual
Beautiful Day for Golf
The course was in great condition and the pace of play was about 4 hrs. Loved the 3rd hole (Par 3). Nice course. Will definitely return.

Very enjoyable golf course
I really enjoyed playing this course and it was in very good shape. The speed of play was just right. Little to no waiting. Will definitely return. Unfortunately this course is an hour away for us. It would be helpful to have hole descriptions for those who are unfamiliar with the course and distance indicators.
Beautiful coarse but difficult
The coarse was beautiful and very well maintained! The ONLY issue My wife and I had was unless you have played here before or purchase a statagy guide book it is very had to know what club to use... The flags and greens are visible for more then half of the hole until you 75 yards or less from them. I hate to give for people not to try this coarse for this reason but definitely research each hole online prior to going if this is your first or second time there or buy the strategy book for $5 at the purchase counter!!!! One more thing..... Be carful for golfers playing behind you because as soon as you tee of and go to hit your second shot your more then likely invisibly to players teeing off toward the green..... ENJOY your game...:-)
challenging layout
Great course with some very tight holes. Tough shots on hillsides add to to the adventure
Excellent course
This course give you a great scenery! The Creek that runs next to it is so nice.
Extremely too overcrowded
At the pace of over 5 hours, didn't even complete the round and extremely disappointed.
