Dirt Fairways
I've always enjoyed playing at this course, but I noticed that the fairways are in poor condition this season. I hope that improvements can be made for next year so everyone can enjoy a better playing experience.
4 dirt fairways
Back course. Online signed up for old course. 8 minute turns not possible on weekend. 6 inch rain in spring was blamed for grassless fairways on 4 holes.
Too many slow golfers.
I teed off 15 minutes before my 1048 tee time thinking I was gonna have a breeze of a round. With one young kid ahead of me the pace was perfect. That was until we got to the 3rd hole where I caught up to him. He was being held up by three groups of old fellas that were using a 3 wood for every single shot. The young kid I eventually asked to join called it at the 9th hole. I carried on and went to the 10th where I was caught by yet another single golfer behind me. I invited him to join because he was going to have to wait even longer if not. I waited on every t box at least 10 minutes if not more. I couldn’t take it and left at hole 14. The older gentlemen on the course should not be teeing off from the whites and taking 13 stroke to get to the green. I will go back but with and earlier tee time to try to lead off the crowd.
first round
cold and windy but not bad for first round of the season, my grandson and i enjoyed it while we could stand the frigid winds!! Course was pretty good ,although soft in some areas , cart path only but pretty good
Considering it was March 1 and it was a brutal winter with snow & some rain recently the course was in great shape & greens were rolling very true. We played the vintage course but would love to play the heritage during peak season, can imagine both are amazing. Will definitely be back
